Not a great solution for me. I need to take out the background from a logo. Canva takes out the surrounding background but not the background in the middle of the icons. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Canva can do basic background removal but for what you’re needing Photoshop would be a better option.

No it’s not a perfect fit but you can touch up your images with the brushes

Awesome tutorial!!! Love your stuff. Background eraser is a game changer for sure. Is there a way, once you have that background dropped, to fill the new image with alternate collage images which would replace the shape of the image? Basically dropping out the inside of the women and collaging the inside with other things. Would love to figure out how to do this in Canva. Thanks. Keep up the great work.

Yes it’s still on Canva. Once you add an images and select it, click on EFFECTS and then you’ll see Background Remover at the very top

you can its called canva but only if you have the canvas pro, which you have to pay monthly 12 and yearly 100 something. but there is 30 days free trial if you want to try out canva pro. you can cancel it anytime, it will also remind you before your trial expires.

@@LaShondaMBrown I’ve tried it on desktop, laptop, ipad, iPhone, app, google, google chrome..have emailed Canva and they aren’t helping! The only option I have on the toolbar is “animate”. I cannot find the “effects” option on Canva or Canva Pro 😭

When you add a photo from Canva to a template it should be the first option to appear in the white toolbar. I’m so sorry. If Canva couldn’t assist and I definitely can’t do anything further. All I can think of is using a different browser or using a different email address to make a new account if you still don’t see it.
