hi sir i tested for laser they said that i should do barrage laser before doing lasik my power was -6.5 on botheyes, while doing barrage laser my eyes cant handle that light reflection as my eyes automatically closes so doctoe suggested me to do barrage by giving anesthesia . My question is my cant even handle this barrage laser , will i able to main lasik without closing my eyes

Don’t worry, LASIK will be done after placing speculum in your eyes.. You can safely undergo LASIK..

Hi doctor, nice video. I have few questions? Let me explain my story. I have undergone victrectomy surgery on my left eye on last December and by may 1st week they have removed the oil and did cataract on my left eye. Now my power in left eye is decreased to 0.75 and i was able to see better on my left eye and doctor said i no longer need to put power glass for left eye. In my right eye i have - 8 power and doctor said you can wear contact lens just only on your right eye for better vision. But i am not comfortable wearing lens and moreover i am also keep putting Gluocoma drops on both eyes(as of today pressure is normal only on both eyes) but still for safe side doctor advised to put pressure drops. My question i am now eligible for laser power correction just on my right eye alone ? Because as i said i am not comfortable to wear lens and i am okay to waer power glass, but they are saying since the power on left eye is 0.75 and right eye -8 wearing glass wont help . They are saying to waer lens or either go for laser just on right eye? But as i said since i was advised to put pressure drops on both eyes i am not comfortable for lens i prefer either to wear speaks or just laser in right eye? My fisst option and i personally Wishing to put power glass. Also want fo know is it practically possible to give power glass for right eye - 8 and left eye 0.75 ? If not i wish to do laser power coreection on right eye. Hope know you got my point . Sorry for long message. Please advise doctor and i humbly request you to please reply me back. Thank you

i am not a big fan of LASIK.. you can do SMILE PRO or TRANS PRK.. If you ask different doctors, each one will tell their opinion.. each procedure has plus and minus, i will tell LASIK has this minus, so i avoid.. whereas, they will say PRK has this minus, so they avoid.. it depends on doctor to doctor..

Each procedure has it's drawbacks.. ICL, eye must be suitable.. There is also a chance of cataract, glaucoma after ICL implantation and also ICL lens must be properly aligned, otherwise, patient might need operating again.. Otherwise ICL is a good procedure..

Hi Syed Sir, Just a quick query. I had undergone barrage laser in left eye though I had a small hole at position 6’O clock. Post that I’ve been seeing things like bubble or think hair floating when I see sky or computer screen. Before that I don’t have this issues. Due to this after two weeks of my barrage, I consulted a doctor. He again examined my full retina and said there is no other issues and that barrage was successful. May I know why I stared to see this things after barrage ?

Basically the reason why we get floaters is because of posterior vitreous detachment.. and maybe after barrage laser the posterior vitreous detachment would have increased, and it’s normal..

Please don’t do refractive surgeries if you are doing it just for aesthetic purpose. Specs is better and it has no complications like refractive surgeries. A doctor who did prk + contoura vision for me tilted my head left head towards her while the laser was in use and I have blurry vision, i.e I have irregular cornea now without any power. Power detector can't detect any power but my cornea is irregular and experiencing blurry vision. Specs dha best. Don’t do any surgery unless any part of your body get functional problems. In my opinion don’t go for any of the aesthetic surgeries. Surgeries are solely to functional problems. It should be your last thing when nothing works for you.

i definitely agree with you.. i don't convince patients for refractive surgeries.. I do surgery only if the patient is willing and if they have a job which needs surgery and they are psychologically depressed about wearing glasses.. i will make a video on that soon.. every surgery has a risk.. only if God does the surgery, there will be ZERO risk..

@Mr_SpideX22 Don’t do any refractive surgery bro, it ain't worth it. Visit School For Perfect Vision, Eye Physiotherapist will help you get your power to zero without surgery but it takes time, to reduce in both eyes +/- 0.25 it takes 3 months.
