*Not many people understand how great of a feat this is. Hattricks are very rare in international cricket. A bowler's hattrick is far more superior than any batsman's century. And just imagine the rarity of this feat that nobody else has ever taken 4 of 4 in one day international cricket. Malinga is the only bowler to do it.* In T20I, Malinga, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder and Curtis Campher has achieved this feat but doing this in ODI is far, far more difficult. In limited over game batsmen are under high pressure to score. And Malinga took 4 of 4 in ODI when SA was in a complete winning position. Watch the ticker, just 4 runs needed of 32 balls and 5 wickets remaining and then came Malinga who almost made a comeback for SL. Extremely difficult to do this in that situation.
