Yes. Sometimes I wonder who actually cashes in on the warranty. People like us tend to fix it ourselves and the average consumer just tosses it as they don't recall the warranty. I think it's a marketing gimmick.

I have the royal blue one same as yours but the sky blue one is ok although royal blue has always been my favorite color since I was 5 and still is even though I’m no’s 50 this one seems powerful I enjoyed the video

Thank you! The sky blue has grown on me. I like it. I am doing another video to explain why I think it has grown on me. I'm also like you and royal blue is my favorite color.. (I even did a video of my car recently in blue lol)

@@johnjingleheimersmith9259 Yes and Lasko as a business just doesn't randomly change colors. Their product people do their market research on this stuff. Even though most of us like the royal blue. We are not speaking on behalf of the entire market I'm sure (ok business hat off lol)

I'm probably going to do a video about the cool colours. The front grill on the cool colours is more aerodynamic in my opinion. The air gets sucked in in the corners then blown out in the center. With the standard models there's a aerodynamics catastrophe going on in the corners, probably due to how close the bladeset is to the front grill. I believe they have a slightly steeper pitch compared to the 3733 but not nearly as steep compared to the wind machine and the power plus. The original cool colours was introduced in 2005 in blue and red. The original first generation model was a Lasko 3733 with with a painted cabinet and a coloured bladeset. The grills, handle and knob was white, the second generation was exactly the same but use the grill off of a Lasko premium. Those also had white grills, handles and knobs. After that they switched to the models that are still being sold today, I would call these the third generation models. When these models were introduced there was a pink version that was sold for one year. The pink model with letter replaced with the purple model and when it was replaced they introduced to Black model alongside it the first year they made the black model it had a black handle and knob then after that, all of the models have the metallic silver handle and knob. About a year ago I had a chance to get a second generation cool colors and I really wish I got it because as of right now they are extremely rare. I believe this is due to the blades being made of a different plastic due to the colour dye. Throughout the production of the royal blue model this was a main issue with them failing. This is probably why they replaced it with the sky blue model.

The blade is identical to the 3733 just painted a unique color. The cool colors to me moves the same air as the 3733. Where did you find that the cool colors were released in 2005? I thought they came out in 2009 or 10. The black cool colors always had silver handle and knobs. The reason the older lasko cool colore are rare isn’t as much about the blade but more because people toss out fans when they get old or dirty because of this lazy country.

That was awesome. Thank you for sharing all that. I didn't realize they dated back so far. And the history of the changes. Thanks so much for sharing as that helps me understand the evolution. Yes they are rare. Occasionally they show up on ebay. I snagged a purple one recently. Stay tuned! And I might as well order a black one too. lol
