This one has a double meaning and importance for me. First there is Lass, voice of the Voilaaa Sound System (with Pat Kalla). I shared several times the stage in Berlin or in London with this artist whose exposure is still too confined to France when he deserves to be much larger. Then, Senegal. The country where my album “Estrellas” was born, my greatest artistic adventure to date. Playing this track takes me instantly back to the unforgettable madness I experienced with my entire musical family. Emotionally, at this moment of the set, I put something personal in it. A window opens and I take advantage of it to play a few “Estrellas” tracks. Breaking my golden rule of never playing my own songs.

Double résonance pour ce titre, me concernant. D’abord Lass, voix du Voilaaa Sound System (avec Pat Kalla). Berlin, Londres, j’ai partagé plusieurs fois la scène avec cet artiste encore trop cantonné à la France alors qu’il mériterait une exposition plus grande. Ensuite, le Sénégal. Le pays où est né mon album « Estrellas », ma plus grande aventure artistique à ce jour. Jouer ce titre me replonge instantanément dans cette inoubliable folie vécue avec toute ma famille musicale. Émotionnellement, à ce moment du set, j’y mets quelque chose de personnel. Une fenêtre s’ouvre et j’en profite pour y jouer quelques titres d’ « Estrellas ». Une entorse à ma règle d’or qui est de ne jamais jouer mes propres titres.
