A square dance is being held at the new Grange Hall to help fund the building project, and the local merchants have donated door prizes, one of which is a catcher's mitt that Timmy wants. However when his friend Scott tells Timmy that he needs a girl dance partner, Timmy decides Lassie will do nicely "because she's a girl..."
