Lassie - Episode

Ranger Corey and Lassie are sent to put up a log chain across a raging stream when a sudden thunderstorm undermines a pile of logs and sends them into the stream, threatening facilities down stream. Corey tells Lassie she needs to stay on the shore, but when Corey loses his oar, Lassie jumps into the water to help him, but then gets swept away afterwards. It is up to Corey to rescue her, and still put the log chain up in time to prevent the logs from getting further downstream. It was quite endearing watching Lassie try to get Corey to play while they were acting. Obviously these two did share a special bond, and Lassie looks very happy.
