Lassie - Episode

This episode reportedly had been removed from early syndication of the Lassie series, so I guess we can count ourselves lucky that it was included in the 2013-14 COZI-TV broadcast of the Lassie reruns. This episode also costars both Lassie Jr. and Spook who took over the Lassie role in Season 6 onward.
The tradition of 'Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF' began in 1950 as the idea of Mary Emma Allison of Philadelphia, PA. Her children and some local children as well went door-to-door at Halloween collecting money in decorated milk cartons to help the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).The grand total raised was $17, kicking off an annual campaign that has since gone global each Halloween with total sum of $170 million (2012) donated to help UNICEF provide medicine, better nutrition, safe water, education, emergency relief and other support to children worldwide.
