No, I have to disagree. Back in the 1990s, chasing 300 plus scores was not the norm, which is the case now. Yes, starting with the 1996 World Cup, scoring 300 runs was not a rarity, but chasing down 300 runs was still very difficult. Yes, in some matches, teams had scored more than 10 runs in the final over. But still, this was not the norm.

But what I am trying to say is that up to 1990s, not many teams won their matches in such situations, where they had to score more than 75 runs in the last 10 overs.
