Moriya, best mother fucker in game! I rocked that toon! fav! loved the teleportation and high middle low hits. GOD of a chain combo'er he was the most fun to play! I miss this game!

Sadly, this game imho is very hard; you have to spam a ton of fundamentals to get by the AI of this game, and time your repels. The execution in this game is quite hard imho just after revisiting this via the PS Vita release. Trying to master someone like Moriya is damn difficult, while he's no doubt badass to the core.

LOL, a massive Take That to the AI of this game. If you can't beat it with skill, why not TAS its cheap-little-ass? Some of this shit feels like how Moriya would actually fight irl; also to mention some cool moments: 0:25 A repel right into a dash. Damn son. 0:57 A repel right into a Taitou: Hogetsu (Sash Blade: Walking Moon) with cancel glitch into a dash. It's like if he deflected your blow then slid out of your sight only to come running back in to cut you down. 3:20 What more better of a moment than to literally run up to your foe with momentum just so you can deflect their first move with full force? 4:24 Just after one Samidare (Fifth Month Rain) throw, then comes another Taitou: Hogetsu cancel glitch just for a badass transition into a run....only for ANOTHER Samidare to rub salt in the wound. 4:31 Dem timed-Hogetsu spams. DBZ-style battle parody incoming, or it could be the precursor to Bousou (Rampaging) Aruceid's shenanigans via her Weiss Katze (White Cat). 5:02 Another Hogetsu cancel glitch into yet another smooth movement animation. Why not I make it like I'm teleporting/high-speed dashing while walking instead? 5:04 Oh, mind if I do it again only while running this time? 5:06 Oh, now this is just nuts lol. Going balls deep with timed-Hogetsu spams this time around. Then at the end, why not a normal brake (since C version Hogetsu cannot be glitch-cancelled) and just run up to you when a mental exclamation mark appears above my head? Oh, it's another throw this time. 5:12 Really? They both HAD to say "koko [insert Japanese verbal tic here]" (over here), eh? 5:47 Your opponent gets pissed off enough for them to run at you blindly, via a generic trope. Meanwhile, the TAS-runner decides out of all the moves to punish them with, a normal throw suffices. If this wasn't near the end of the first round, your foe would just get pissed off at the fact you just managed to merely lay a finger on him. 6:41 Adopted bros will always be adopted bros. As a sign of this, you'd run at your said bro, bait his attack with a solid dodge leap, then merely counter him with a simple throw. 7:42 Even though this guy is your dead master/foster-father, you kindly repel his attack then knock him away with a Ittou: Shingetsu (Stray Blade: New Moon) to kindly tell him to fuck off. 7:45 Barring the OTG kick, no way you'd stay still. You're going to run around your opponent to stay on the move even as they're down on the ground; no telling what kind of threat they'd be since it's Huanglong/Kouryuu you're dealing with. 8:31 Just after your foe recovers from your attack head-on, you know they'd be tempted to have a swing at you just out of a brief vengeance. Take advantage of that like you would and repel their assault on instinct, or it could've been memories of your master's teachings in terms of what you've been taught during your sparring matches. 9:21 Your master suddenly pushes you to the brink....but as soon as you noticed the lapse in his offense, your heart calls out to you, and you unleash all you have learned and mastered for an all-out assault mixed with Hogetsu-spams from several directions, just to make sure offense and speed was on your side to inflict as much damage as possible. Soon, you began to somewhat tire out as your slashes started to matter less and less in terms of damage, and soon your master recovers from your assault. - Here though, the damage scaling was MASSIVE enough from the TAS-hacked combo in that almost zero damage was starting to be done per hit, which is how The Last Blade 2's damage scaling system works. Nowadays in modern fighting games since Guilty Gear: Accent Core and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, we're starting to have proration mechanics mixed in as well when it comes to scaling down both damage and hitstun in combos to prevent the worthwhile attempt of unbalanced infinites/loops. 9:45 Just as your master recovers to finish you off during exhaustion....your mind is clear and set. You know what you must do. You are unfazed by his approach, thus you repel it with ease to throw him off. During this confusion, you decide to finish the fight with full force, by performing with heart-and-soul your secret technique: Kassatsu: Midare Setsu Gekka! (Life-or-Death: Disordered Snow Moon Flower!) - I assume that if timed right, throws like Huanglong/Kouryuu's can be parried with a repel, even if that's not meant to actually happen. Must be some sort of glitch.

@pupkins000 Terrible, that's where I had to edit because the replay dropped the final inputs. I had to go to my final savestate, have it grab the inputs, then edit accordingly. In the end though, I basically backdashed, he attacked, I deflected into HSDM.
