@MDLRfishing Mark I have had better luck with mirrolure soft dine in pink and silver for trout. I use a short slow twitch to the side or I give it a twitch or two and let it just sink fir a few seconds then retrieve it again, it works best in 2 feet to about six foot of water its like using a corky just smaller size.

Just throwing in my two cents on hard baits. I found smaller more subtle twitches and a 2 or 3 second pause worked best for me in the bays. It does make a difference if you're throwing a fast sinker a slow sinker or a suspending bait. Bigger twitch with a fast sinker in the surf and a smaller twitch with a slow sinker in the bay. You can keep the change on my two cents.

i haven’t got the hang of suspending baits yet. i bought some of the famous suspending mirrolures but I guess i am so used to tossing plastic paddletails on a jighead I that I haven’t yet figured out how to adjust my twitching method lol. but i mean mirrolure aren’t famous for nothin’😅

We went out Monday morning out to red fish island, pine gully park and a couple rigs close to red fish island. Water was good, winds light in morning and we threw everything under the sun and only 1 fish but no bites. Really strange that conditions were good but bite was off on the 30th

I recently purchased the Salty Hundo, and looking at the one you are having issue with. First real flaw i have seen out of this company. Hard to find a lot of reviews being as new as they are. Makes me want to test the Salty Hundo in similar conditions
