wacky rig those big ones in the grass. longggg casts with how shallow and clear it is. Also a weedless Yamatunuki with no weight would be killer. That's just my opinion

When catching those small bass on spoon, would upgrading to larger spoon be a option? Also those bigger fish following your glide bait, would having a wacky senko at the ready to throw next to the glide be a option? Digging your videos.

When they follow the glide, even if they come next to the kayak, figured 8 the bait, or move it faster around the kayak for a minute. Sometimes it will trick them. Just never stop the bait really close to you. Good video man!

Greg, stay positive bro! Hopefully it'll change for the better, for you. I'd bring all your weapons, out for this tournament. I'd even consider running the 1103, in case you need to cover some extra water, a little faster. Can't wait for your pre-fish. 😎 🛶 🎣

In Washington state the state will pay you to catch pike minnow and dispose of them because they eat Salmon smolt , I think the either pay you by the pound or by how many you catch. Mostly in the Columbia river basin. Great video Greg .

P.S. on my comment yesterday below, I just read on Western Bass site that your final 3 keepers for Day 2 came within the last 15 minutes of the tournament, unreal! The fishing gods were with you for sure and AOY wrapped up, it was also great seeing the comments from Paul Mata about you and your willingness to share the same area, that is true sportsmanship and yet another reason you deserved the AOY, well done Greg.

Try a Hoover rig, look it up. Been having great results on my deep water reservoirs . Try and match the hatch. I drop the rig between the bottom and the bait ball and usually they will come up from the bottom to eat it

I would be willing to bet that the big fish are eating those small bass and pike minnow. Keep throwing the deps, add a hudd to the arsenal. Fish those weed lines and maybe try flipping that grass. Maybe size up to a magnum spoon

Have you ever tried jigging a blade for those deeper fish? Our Australian Bass school deep quite a lot and an erratic pop thrown into a consistent popping can be pretty effective

Yep, not a whole ton but personally have had better luck jigging blades when its end of Nov-Jan here or when the water temps get to be around 50 F

Mr. Greg . . . Good Grief, when I saw this newly uploaded video, I was hoping 🤞it would be of your practice days . . . PSYCH! Nice "tease" 😂! Am following your advice and NOT reading the "Comments" as to potentially NOT let me know the results of the TOC / AOY prematurely. From seeing when this was recorded and then the time to release the video, it definitely provides us viewers the time and effort required to put out quality content. As an Engineer, I'm always reminding the Junior Engineers "Quality takes Time" . . . seems like your utilizing this belief as well 👍. Not sure if there will be two videos, one recapping you and your crew's practice days and another to recap the TOC and AOY results, or just one long video to recap all of it . . . but either way, anxiously 🥵awaiting the next video. "Thanks" for the STELLAR bass fishing content 🤙!

Try a Carolina rig. 18 to 24 inch leader with a curly tailed worm or lizard. Real it in slower than a snail. It's boring but extremely productive for deep bass.

Yo Greg... You probly don't care bout the million comments your gonna get.... But usually when I use a glide and the fish come up enough to be interested, I always throw a plopper and the seem to come up and hit it. Just past experience of mine. Glides never sink to low so that shows me they are interested in coming up. This could be 100% off in 2 weeks tho. Tight lines

Pikeminnow are such a nuisance fish! They're so bad for other fish populations that there is a bounty on them in the Columbia River and some people even make their living on catching and turning in dead ones. A lot of bass fishermen in Washington especially hate the Pikeminnow because they've been proven to eat a ton of Salmon smolt but our state blames bass and removed limits on the Columbia River. Our state is also full of morons that believe that bass are to blame for the decline in salmon numbers so we have a bunch of ignorant assholes here that will illegally keep and kill tons of bass out of lakes with no regards for the actual limits. They're also gillnetting on some of the lakes to kill bass when bass are not the problem. That being said, a lot of anglers here will not release a pikeminnow alive.
