Happy that Twan Twans toe was fixed!!! I have every confidence in Dr Andrew and his team to heal Boris' clef pallette, he is wonderful!!! Just like all the vets at Bondi and Sash!!! Is there anything Dr. Andrew can't do? He's such a perfectionist, and so dedicated. I always get the feeling that he takes on difficult cases just to compete with himself. It's amazing to see how long the root is on a dog's teeth.

Wow just love this show. That sweet wee birdie is clearly loved. And i love that just bc u can do a surgery doesn't mean u should. I feel that alot of vet these days (I'm Canadian) they over charge. And will do pretty much anything to make extra money. Some are very good tho .I got lucky and got a good vet who always worked with me and my situation to offer my dog the best we could. Unfortunately my old boy had heart murmur and then cyst went sideways in only a cpl days so we had to say goodbye. I could not ask him to keep fighting anymore. He was 13 years old. And he is missed very much! ❤️😓

My Mom had a Persian almost Twan Twan’s double he lived to be 19 & was a house cat. He was so docile & loving…for a CAT. CHADWICK’s tongue always stuck out the side of his mouth.

That cleft palate surgery was a work of art. Most people here don’t understand first how hard it is to take healthy canines out of the mouth and second how difficult and unusual that surgery was

On one hand, I found it extremely irresponsible to raise a dog with the suffering that a cleft palate is known to cause.... But honestly.... I'm glad that goodest boy will get to finish a long and fulfilling life with an astoundingly loving family.

Scott is extremely dedicated and if anyone in his neck of the woods can fix this lil parakeet it's Scott!!!! 💗💋 Scott is a really a thought processor, I think after seeing the x-rays Scott made a very wise decision to nix the surgery!!!! At least the lil guy isn't in pain and is loved. So glad little echidna is ok, so cute!! Hurray to all at Sash 💗💋

@@charonstyxferryman . No need to resort to pharmacological solutions so quickly. Not only are they costly, they could have some unpleasant side effects. Try avoiding sweets and high carbohydrates food and get enough sleep could be the better option and natural.

There is a breed called American Staffordshire terrier and there is American Pitbull terrier. They are actually 2 different breeds. The generic term for either breed would be “Bully”. They are amazing dogs.

@@Jael_1776 there's also a British version of staffy which is the original version - visually same as pits and American staffies just smaller. A very controversial dog type but in the end I feel like with any breed it all comes down to training and socialisation, possibly also bloodlines which for a lovable family pet could be having less unwanted prey drive.

At Tiny Kittens in British Columbia, Canada a kitten was born there with a serious cleft pallet. They kept her alive with tube feeding until she was big enough for surgery. Little Ara’s surgery was successful and she’s about three years old.

It was very touch and go with Auracuda! She really beat the odds, even after swallowing a piece of the feeding tube.

My pittie/staffy mix recently had surgery, come to find out, he didn’t need it. This was after many months of imaging, etc. they finally had a “definitive” diagnosis, performed surgery, and they were wrong. Heart breaking.

I'm so thrilled there was a happy ending for Boriss but I'm still not sure if it was fair for a wee puppy to suffer through 9 painful surgeries and all the discomfort of being tube fed for a good part of his life. I have a gorgeous lab and I can't imagine putting him thru all that especially not knowing if he would ever live a normal comfortable life.

I knew a lady had birds. I referred to as bird lady. I am glad the pretty cat's paw had surgery and is healing. The fur baby had teeth removed and hole closed up. I am thankful that he has healed from his surgeries.
