Have a great new year and all the best for 2025 to you and your family. I’m sitting out the back with a bottle of Kirin 🍺 and then a couple glasses of sake . Thanks again for the video.

Happy New Year! We’re currently in Tokyo & will attend Yasakuni-jinja shrine on 2nd Jan to watch my partners father perform & for prayer. New Years in Japan is (obviously) an incredibly special & meaningful time. I’ve watched people set up at other shrines & temples the last week.

Happy new year to you too. Have a great time in Tokyo be careful with the cold weather you don’t catch a cold or the flu there is a lot of it going around.

@@larrikinjapan sadly illness has caught up with us. We’ve all come down with influenza A. So our time in Tokyo has not gone to plan though I’ve seen another side of Japan that I would not have otherwise seen. For example the hospital that treated us over several days. The hospital looked old & dated however the service & turn around times for service, testing, diagnosis, dispensing of medication & so on was incredibly quick. If this was back in Australia I’d still be waiting to see an admin officer from QLD Health let alone get near a nurse or Doctor.

That no good. I have had a cold for about a month can’t get rid of it mainly a runny nose.
