I love the fact that Niyah is into her devotionals, it's a beautiful thing! My daughter, who's 11, asked for a Bible for Christmas and I was just amazed. She writes her prayers in the back of her Bible, but I'm going to get her a devotional to go along with her studies as well. You did a beautiful job on her braids. Llovvve Nyahs braids . Not a fan of the edges but it’s because she has a perfect forehead and no receding hairline ! Gorgeous none the less ! My mama did my hair my whole childhood to! There’s nothing like it!

I suggest for Nyah hair the edges part she gets another edge control and flat iron the hairs curl em up then swoop em with the gel. The hair style looks beautiful on her ! Just a big sis looking out edges are definitely a learning process

Sis, I think you did an excellent job on Niyah's hair. Especially doing it for the first time, you killed it!!. They look good to me. I understand where you are coming from with sharing your kids personal information. I have a daughter who doesn't want me to post anything about her on my Facebook page, she does not like social media and I respect her wishes. The small boat you saw on the cruise was more than likely refugees and cruise ships are mandated by law to stop for refugees. They have to provide first aid, food and fresh water until the Coast Guard arrive to rescue them. My husband and I have seen this happen 3 or 4 times while cruising.
