Hi Rohini, I also live out of India ,whenever I visit india my son also gets itchy skin , rashes on his back as he has sensitive skin type. I always use calamine lotion and it works for him.. moreover it is safe for babies. You can try on veda's skin after consulting with your pediatrician.

Hey Rohini i am dealing wiyh with the same.allergy ... this can be due to temperature changes, humidity,crowd,and doctors are right this will come and go and the medications will be continued but when she will grow up u can do an allergy test so u will get to know about the exact reason,,,i hope she will be fine soon and yes high and low temperature fluctuations can be the reason

You should not take any tension because skin problems is common in babies and I can relate this because I have baby and dealing with same skin issues due to burning heat don’t worry you should give two to three baths to baby in normal temperature of water afterwords should use sebamed baby lotion and powder ok and with in day baby will be fine ok just try it no need any medication ❤

Rohini and Sarthak I am not sure what kind of rash Veda has but my daughter also had really bad redness/ rashes under her neck and elbow crease when she was around 5 months old. It was REALLY BAD! The weather was a bit dry and warming up in Toronto too.The doctors here gave topical steroid cream which I did not buy due to potential side effects. Thankfully the rash disappeared when I reached Solan. I really believe it was due to the moist weather there. I am back in Toronto and the rash near her elbow has reappeared because the weather here is very dry. What keeps it under control is not using any soap during bath time and applying aquaphor or any petroleum jelly on damp skin( this is the key). I also use it on red areas before I give her a bath to seal the moisture. If your baby gets sweaty under her neck and it contributes to redness, apply a little bit of corn starch to keep it dry. Works like magic.
