Oh y'all. All of my love. I'm so glad we all made it through 2020 together and it warms the deepest darkest bits of my heart to know that I helped even one person weather the storm just a bit better. Although it's been many years and many hundreds of miles of moves since I lived and filmed this in downtown Atlanta, I'm still hopeful to "do it all again" one year soon. See you then! ❤️

Not as much as you'd think :) Most of her singing was filmed on a separate weekend trip when the hotels were mostly empty and the video in the loft was actually shot during Momocon. All the other convention footage was filmed at Dragon Con 2011. The original plan was to film it all at Con, but that was way too difficult to workout with our schedules.

I have been unable to attend Dragon Con for the past few years (twins being born in 2019 and the pandemic in 2020) and this song keeps me going. Thanks! Although I would say it is professionally produced :) I have a background in audio/video production and we recorded the vocals in a studio on Music Row in Nashville. We weren't "paid" to produce this, but it was a pretty professional team ;)

Wow, during MomoCon? That's rather clever! I was thinking along the same lines thinking you just did it days before DCon, but it wasn't even the SAME Con yet the same PLACE! Cool! I have to say, I showed this to my little cousin (a budding Con-goer) and now EVERY single Con we go to she tries her hardest to come up with her own lyrics like she did. She really admires these videos and this was just so awesome and just HOME. It's a lot of fun to re-visit. Kudos!

Mostly where they were back then! Many of the people in the video live in Atlanta, and the video producers live in Nashville and Atlanta. The singer has moved out west with her family, but she still comes back to DCon when she can.

We recorded the vocals first, then I played them back for her while we shot it. That's pretty common. It's pretty difficult to do right if you try and do it the other way around.
