@@deathntaxeset that's not how damage works in this game. any source of flat spell damage gets added to any spell ability. so static orb will do both lightning and fire/necrotic/void damage.

I'm currently getting the gear to transition into this version (coming from regular Frost Claw). How much Mana would you recommend as a minimum before switching?

the more the better, the strict minimum you need is 1k but when it comes to bossing, having specific items like confluence of fate, julra's stardials and being crit capped (via either prismatic gaze or crystal skull catalyst) is way more important than getting more mana. get those items first and see how it feels

Nice! I tested it yesterday and I really liked it. But I'm still not "hit kill" bosses. Right now my mana is low, ~1200. Unfortunately, I was unlucky enough to get an Unstable Core with +14 mana. HAHAHA.

frost claw spark charge is good for leveling check out FrozenSentinel's guide on it, static orb requires some endgame gear

ward comes from the "lost knowledge" passive node and mana spent gained as ward (from belt) when using static orb so you just need more mana

how is clear speed? im doing ignite stacking sorc, can get over 1000 stacks on a boss or higher HP mobs quite fast, but boss dmg could be better
