Quick comment: I started playing in 1.0 and found that I couldn't unlock the chest in the middle because it was still locked after beating the last three locations. I did this to unlock it personally: 1) If you haven't already, unlock all the physical bridges after beating the three timelines (walk up to them from the middle) 2) Reload the map by teleporting to any of the locations three locations (they're just closer, primary reasoning is just to reload the map). 3) walk back to the middle and it should be unlocked.

Any tips on improving your gear when you struggle to do empowered Monoliths? Target farming uniques in normal Monoliths is a struggle :(

New players really struggle with defeating Lagon. Maybe a guide on how that encounter works would be helpful. I always see people trying to get a carry against this boss.

Do you think that's still the case with the tentacles? In the past he was definitely a brutal boss, but I feel like he's a lot easier now. That could just be because I'm a lot better at the game than I used to be though.

​@@Tenkieihonestly the main issue from my experience especially if your resistances are not maxed it's easy to get one shotted. Also the mid part with the waves is annoying lmao

@@Tenkiei I had not fought Lagon since they added the tentacles. I was confused at what they were at first and did not target them. I was trying to fight him the old way. Newer players may not know what resistances are required for the different bosses and they may not know where to find the info. I think a video series on each monolith boss going over the resist and the boss abilities would be good. And guiding to a written resource would be good as well. From watching chat, Lagon seems to be the most problematic for new players with the dragon boss coming in second.

So after unlocking empowered monos I see when you click on a monolith it gives you the option for level 90 normal with capped corruption and level 100 legendary with uncapped corruption. Assuming you’d start with the Normal option first?

Complete the Quest echos listed, there should be three, the third being the boss. Upper left on the map - press shift to display quests. Click on each quest to start...

When target farming something like bows in the first one. Is it a random drop or from the reward Specific Unique. Haven't seen my bow yet.

Yep, it's random just remember some bows like Reign of Winter are boss drops.

Just finished the 3 last monoliths but the stone is not active. I think it was patched that you have to do all ? Will come back if that is the case. Edited: Not sure what was missing, but after finishing "The stolen lance" then the stone was active..

Still dont understand. Cleared fire,winter and ruin already, claimed that bonuses but when i go to that middle thingy nothing is shining. Campaign is already cleared btw

Bit late but no, certain special echoes in normal need you to defeat the Shade. Ones that increase corruption for example and maybe ones that reset all the existing Echoes in the web.

Is there any unbelievable unique in this game? Like headhunter or mageblood

Anything that drops with 4lp is kinda amazing, but the chase rarity stuff would be an Orian's Eye, Ravenous Void, or Omnis, they kinda aren't as exciting as a headhunter or mageblood imo because 4LP exists. Even a common unique like Bleeding Heart if you can put 4 perfect affixes on it is a godly chase item.

So anyone whom might need this info! I completed 10/20 monoliths, all the level 90 monoliths and was NOT able to activate the chest in the center of the island. I had to reload my game about four times, then manually RUN between all the level 90 monoliths before my game updated and let me click on the center chest to unlock empowereds. Buggy mess this game is.

You don't log in, you play offline. As for "transition zones" I have no idea what you mean.

​@Tenkiei transitioning between zones most of the time takes up to 5 min, pretty sure that was his point. They have allready addressed the server problems and are releasing hotfixes as needed.

​​​@@artur21212121Its not a new Problem, really few games have a stable online launch. FF14 Endwalker had unstable game and 2 hour queues for 2 weeks after launch, and that was their 4th expansion. Its not smth you can just prepare for.

LOL if you went shadow dagger, and die...the daggers that are spawned can kill lagoon for you, i legit "Alt-Tab"ed after i died mid encounter to watch a guide, tabbed back and boom, lagoon is dead lol
