I actually adore the song. I don't know what's wrong with it; I very much prefer this one to the Placebo one, especially considering that beat. I do admit, she screams at you more than she sings.

I only know 'Running Up That Hill' by Placebo, which more quiet and downbeat than this one, but this one is cool, too ! P.S.: On Wikipedia I discovered that it has been covered so many times since the original came out in 1985 !!!.

I think it's the most powerful version of the song honestly. Some say the vocals are bad, I wouldn't. But I do agree in some playbacks I heard that maybe they're a tad bit turned up too high over the rest of the song. But again I think that's just with a few recordings or the balance settings. But it's strong, powerful, and perhaps in such carries it's meaning more powerfully than perhaps even the original, but does so in fully respecting the original material.
