i would also add that you cant save your points after each hole, you need to save at least 2 holes in a row to bank. If they can save on every hole then everybody would save their points after a eagle, and not risk multiplying.

I think this idea is almost there. There should be some reward for the guys who make birdie. The one who does it first gets to experience the reward the longest. Then the guys eventually start joining in. The last two are left alone on the course until it’s done. Then finally, the last one has some small punishment. Whether that’s not to participate in the reward at all or something else. Some friendly stakes are always fun ✌🏼

They should do this in the dead of summer in Arizona or someplace unbearably hot and have an air conditioned vehicle or shaded drink cart that they can ride around in while the others have to walk the course until they join the Birdie Bar.

I think it should be the remaining get punished if they bogey or worse, so if you bogey a hole you lose a club decided by the winners.

Every hole costs like $5. The more holes you compete in, the bigger the pot grows. First one out gets the largest share. Shares get smaller until last makes nothing. But you have to play until every person gets a birdie

I'm from the west but I did live in Winnipeg for a year. I golfed some courses around the interior lakes (Hecla) that were gorgeous. But I've golfed way more in BC and and the mountain scenery that surrounds a lot of courses is unbeatable imo! Cheers

This is a great new idea. But it'd be hugely improved if there were stakes on the line. Like, you get prizes if you finish first, but with the prizes becoming less and less good and instead turning into punishments the longer you take to make the birdie. for example, 1st place, gets an extra life in the next knockout. 2nd place gets to keep all their clubs. 3rd has to lose a driver. 4th loses a putter 5th loses wedges, 6th driver/woods. 7th, loses irons and so on so forth. doesn't have to be these exavt punishments but something like that.

My idea for modification to play for "Last to make birdie": 1)Make it a 1v1, tournament-style, with "Winners" and "Losers" brackets. Keep it as don't make a birdie you are out. If neither player makes it, play another hole/replay hole, depending on time available on course. If not enough time for another hole/replay, then "closest-to-hole" challenge, decided by camera people. 2)To incentivize winning the hole - Winners of match-up get a mulligan on next hole, only. No carry over mulligans. This continues on all following match-ups in both brackets. 3)Winners of both brackets play at the end, each having a mulligan from last match-up, which is only available for their first hole against each other. If they have to play another hole, no mulligans available.

Most sunglasses messes with depth perception.Sweat running down your forehead gets the inside of the glasses soaked ,you constantly have to wipe them off . I stopped trying to wear sunglasses awhile ago because of these issues.
