Carlo Martini I do, it's just associated with some of the absolute most basic shit I've ever heard, I just think Seba's stuff is a bit classier than the overall output you get in "liquid"

Carlo Martini Fabio and Grooverider coined that term, waaaaay back in the day. So it's subject to anything else, watering down and the original (and arguably more talented artists) moving away from it as time goes on.

After 2000 I grew disappointed with the whole scene because the intel side of dnb got in decline. Nowadays in Holland (where I'm from) when dnb gets played out in Amsterdam (which is seldom) you can hear it at those bashing Pendullum parties which is fun for about 30 mins but then I get fed up. It's just one mindless slammer after the other. Then I heard Seba's recent tunes, this is just what the scene needs! Seba brought the love back into dnb, and man, do we need it!

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm truly surprised by how many dnb heads only like the darkcore or ravey "filler" tunes that get so much play these days. A m8 of mine stopped listening to dnb altogether in '01 because of that. I got him to listen to this tune, other Seba & Paradox tunes, some 17th Boulevard, and it perked his interest of dnb again. Not that I don't like other types of dnb, but like you said, party tunes are only fun for bout 30 min or so.
