Jimmy you are going to be missed thank you for the wonderful music. Met the entire band in the old Hollywood Sportatorium in Florida back in the day when they were touring the Sacret Heart Album. The entire band loved their fans they stopped their limo and stepped out to take pictures with 5 young teenagers at the time. We are never going to forget the experience with the original band lineup. Can't wait for the new album and will catch your tour. RIP JIMMY!!!!

Thank you for the share. I worked for Jimmy fixing his publishing & writers with ASCAP he was a true talent & a good friend. Loved hearing the stories. He will be dearly missed. Glad you captured his , "Last In Line" tattoo he showed me that Tatoo in November & the other one he had done his long time love & finace Julies name handwritten on his other arm. RIP Jimmy

I've seen Dio with Jimmy a few times (Holy Diver, Last In Line and Sacret Heart tours), and as far as I can remember he never was anything less than rock solid... Seemed a really nice bloke too, great sense of humour - I'm sure his bandmates will still miss him. RIP Jimmy, and thanks for the grooves 🙏

In the 80s I played bass in a touring Sabbath tribute band that also did some Dio, so I am very familiar with Jimmy Bain's playing. For me he was not inspirational. To me he was merely playing rhythm guitar on the bass. But I did like his sound, especially on the Holy Diver album. He was obviously hired to keep it simple.
