The reason for the interview was the release of his new record White Light, which meant a new phase in his career after he almost died in a hospital in Vienna the year before.
Hans Schiffers asks George Michael about this frightening experience and if his music has changed because of it. In 2011 he announced his retirement from pop music. In 2012 he seemed more productive than ever.
