Great Interview. One of the only people if just a select few , that didn’t try to bash him with questions they have been harassing him on, on purpose, since 1998. Love this man doing the interview for having morals where most don’t in his line of business.

Contrary to Freddy Mercury"s bandmate's opinion, George Michaels's music is not and never has been lounge music. George has always been relevant and celebrated worldwide. He has never been defined as a rock and roller. Michael's answer to the statement, a gentleman as always.

@@ryouready1978 And George never wanted to be in the Queen band anyway. But it’s obvious that people bring it up since that performance because he slayed it . You can also tell the lead guitarist to bought so towards the end I of the performance smiling at George knowing he killed it!!! The audience showed how they felt!!

I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried when I initially found out that he had passed away and I'm still so sad about it! I think that George Michael would have been an absolutely fantastc replacement for Freddie Mercury as Queen's lead singer. I've always thought the former had a very emotive singing voice compared to the latter!

I am SO glad that George Michael's voice is/was not rocky enough, although he performed "Somebody to love" even better than Freddie. Michael was more famous and loved than queen/Freddie and he always will be, and who is that taylor anyway...well, I don't want to know...whoever he or she, is IRRELEVANT!

Maybe a slight hint..said he wasnt afraid of death but afraid of illness..and he had been ill after that pneumonia with lung issues which got worse because of the scarring..maybe he didnt want to get to the point of suffering bad..he was already bloated ...and severely depressed..I think he wanted to go and be free..

I wonder if his heart was damaged by his infection too as my great grandmother died a few years after having an infection which caused heart damage that she didn't know about. She just collapsed one day all of a sudden at an early age. Thus him being shot in the heart in the video.

I know that once your lungs have scar tissue and they're very damaged, . you end up having from time to time difficulty with breathing properly. Doctors put you on a steroid such as prednisone which side effects are bloating and extreme bloating around your face . This is called moonface. My niece was on this medication do to her severe asthma. It was the only thing that kept her breathing. She went from an average size girl to looking very overweight and bloated. Once her lungs get stronger she came off the medicine and returned to her normal state. When I look at those last pictures of George it very much looks like moon face. I wouldn't be surprised if the doctors had him on steroids to keep his lungs clear and he could breathe without any discomfort. The side effects of those steroids are something you can do nothing about. You either decide to breathe or not. I felt so hurt for him that he had such scar tissue in his lungs but at the same time I think he would have had ongoing problems and perhaps it was just time for him to rest.
