I doubt Sharon had anything to do with it. I wish she would just keep her worthless butt in the states and stop threatening to move back to the UK. We don't want her. She's definitely her father's daughter. I'll never understand how Ozzy let her mistreat Lee. He was such a kind man.

Lee's drumming on those first two Ozzy albums is metal drumming at its finest! Lee showed that the drums were as musical as the other instruments and did far more than just compliment the song or keep the tempo, the drum tracks were essential to those songs, they would not be the same without Lee's input. I'm glad he was given his due and proper, not in monetary value of which I feel he and Daisley should've received their share and then some for having to go to court, but in being recognized for his skills, he seems happy so I am happy for him. R.I.P. Lee. Btw, Living Loud absolutely rocked, you showed em what an old drummer could do! Brilliant!

When I first got Diary of a Madman, on the inner sleeve, there was a picture of the band with Tommy and Rudy. Being a huge fan of Tommys from Pat Travers, I marveled at his incredible drum performance and sound! Well, I later found out all the stuff that everyone knows and was introduced to Lee Kerslake and Bob Daisley. Absolutely stunning bass and drum performances. And knowing what I know now, in my opinion, there is no way those albums would have been what they were and still are with Rudy and Tommy. Both incredible in their own right for sure, but Randy, Lee and Bob were 3 masters of the art of music in an amazing few moments of history. Rest in peace, Lee. Your drumming lives on!

I loved the first two Ozzy albums, a lot of us did. That was one hell of a band with Kerslake, Daisley and Rhoads, and he had Don Airey on keyboards. Then issues over money and songwriting credit come into play and Ozzy has paid no one for their work since and just has hired sidemen. They really screwed over two guys that had so much to do with getting Ozzy some musical credibility and wrote some really good songs for him. Nice to see Lee had a good time right up until the end.

@@jamesb.9472 @james b Well, both Lee and Bob Daisley didn't get the royalties they were due. They took Ozzy and Sharon to court but lost because they don't have such deep pockets to spend on legal fees. It also happened with Jake E Lee, he doesn't get any writing credits or the financial rewards that go with that. He asked Sharon about it and her answer was, "Well, we have everything written and recorded, you either sign an NDA and agree that Ozzy wrote the Bark At The Moon album and make money on the tour, or leave and join a long queue of people who are trying to sue us." Ozzy's response was, "I got fucked over at your age and now I fuck you, it's just business." @@jamesb.9472 Daisley and Kerslake played on the album Diary Of A Madman. The record came out crediting 2 different people instead. That's years of performance royalties unpaid. Go to Bob Daisley's website for details.

The Osbournes kept the millions they owed him Ozzy probably had to raise hell w/Sharron out of guilt to get those platinum records to him , Sharron & Ozzy are real POS for robbing him & Bob not to mention rerecording their parts on the 1st two albums.

Very sad, yet what a great attitude. He stayed loyal to Uriah Heep through countless lineups and better opportunities, with Ozzy’s 80’s band as one of them. The introduction to Over The Mountain will never fade. RIP “If I had the time... to relive my life... I don’t think I’d care... to change a thing.”

The Osbournes; as shabby and cheap as they come. Sharon and Ozzy should be totally ashamed of themselves. You know what; I bet Randy Rhoads would be a name on the long list of people they’ve screwed over if he hadn’t died.

Really depends. I don't think Zakk Wild or Jake E. Lee were screwed. Jake says they treated him fine but was kind of freaked out by how they treated others. All I know THUS far as I could very well be wrong as the story is still being told.

Most definitely ! I guess you didn't see the vid of Bob saying he heard from a reliable source that right after the plain crash , Sharon was trying to get Randy's contract changed to take all his money

highly unlikely as Randy had already told Ozzy he was out after that tour to move on to music he wanted to play. Randy wasn't sticking around, it's odd most people don't know that.

I'm pretty sure Ozzy and Sharon did screw over Randy, especially after he had given his notice to leave the band after completing the Diary of a Madman tour. Randy's mom Dolores became the executor of his estate when he died in 1982 and she had been after Ozzy and Sharon for all the royalties they never paid him. For years, they gave her the runaround, and sometime in the mid-80's I believe Mrs. Rhoads filed a lawsuit for the back royalties. Suspecting Mrs. Rhoads would have the fan's sympathy (since Randy was the one who gave Ozzy's career a second shot of life) and how bad it would look if she went public with the reason why she filed the lawsuit, lo and behold, Ozzy conveniently released Tribute in 1987, after he vowed he would never release any concert material with Randy. It wouldn't surprise me if Tribute was a quick and easy way to pay off Mrs. Rhoads and get her off their backs.

Just look at his family's music school and how shabby it looks. Look at the family ...the certainly don't look like they inherited any of Randy's music publishing royalties. Randy was going to leave Ozzy ...the reasons given to the public was that he wanted to spend more time in classical music and so fourth. Bet getting ripped off was part of the reason. I met the drummer for Ratt that replaced Bobby in 1990. He said the Rock music scene and world is filled with maniacs that destroy everything and everyone around them. He said unless you're rich to the point where you can afford all of the lawsuits everyone around you instigates, he said its not a good idea to pursue a career in the industry,

100% Class act...Wonderful life perspective. My friend Glen and I got to know Lee over the course of several tours that came through Seattle in the 70's. We were 2 teenage fans and he remembered us every time Uriah Heep came through and even sent us postcards from England. What rock star does that for their fans?? Lovely person and he certainly has taught me something here..

RIP Mr. Kerslake. Your drumming and laying down the foundation for the man (Randy Rhoads) who inspired me to become formally/classically trained in guitar is permanently etched into my brain evermore. On another note, I studied rather extensively on the "issues" with John Michael Osbourne (Ozzy) and Sharon; Sharon is a greedy fucking ghoul, and Ozzy either has no balls to stand up to Sharon, or he simply hides behind her. No wonder Jake E. Lee hates them both.
