How is it this time already? I do not know, but here is my final jump before we head off to compete at Badminton Horse Trials. Seeing as the cross country course photos have been released, it was a great opportunity to recreate some of the combinations that look most challenging. I headed over to Emily Mustow Equestrian's beautiful arena, where she had set up some very technical questions. I hope you enjoy seeing our last training session. This is the fittest and most in control I recall seeing both Meg and Jam. Epic training session - It's beautiful how Emily keeps Meg in check... giving excellent support throughout the training.

As much as I think Lucinda is an incredible horse person and instructor, I really think Emily's positivity is amazing for not only your riding, but your confidence too which is exactly what you (or anyone else) needs before Badders! 🙌🏼 Wish I was based over that way as I'd love a lesson with her.

This is a throwback to the jump school with Simon, but it really looks like you have a much straighter horse (and a much straighter line) - Jam's shoulders are staying square in front of you rather than dropping one way or the other, in the corners but also as you come into your approaches, and it is giving you some really, really lovely take-offs. That doesn't happen overnight, it's the result of doing your homework over and over and it has clearly paid off. Being straight more consistently, and embracing your engine and riding forward, makes for an absolute joy to watch. Rooting for you. 💕

This was so lovely to watch. Epic performance by horse & rider. Emily is so down to earth & knowledgeable.
