Last Life #5: Boogeyman Business

Last Life is an odd mix of a Social and PvP Minecraft game started by Grian. Players are thrown into a tiny world with almost no rules, except survive as long as possible.
Dark Green = 4+ Lives
Green = 3 Lives
Yellow = 2 Lives
Red = 1 Life
Red Players are given the goal of killing all the other players in the game. In addition to the Red Players, each episode Boogeymen are chosen in secret and randomly to kill another player. If they fail to do so, they will lose all except 1 of their lives in the next episode.
To add chaos to the social dynamic, players also have been given the option to share their lives with each other.

The only externally enforced rule (apart from game mechanics) is that green/yellow lives can only kill in self-defense unless they're the Boogeyman. Everything else is enforced by the players in-game. The problem with that is that there is that there's such a power struggle that no one can reasonably enforce anything, especially when they can't kill as a green/yellow life. So, all "deals" or "contracts" are only kept for the sake of good-will, friendship, or (more accurately) self-interest.

i have gone back to this episode like 5 times since it was released. it really has it all. etho's boogeyman crisis, the breakup with red bdubs, getting a life back for bdubs and getting back together, and the start of an epic rivalry with scar. literally better than cinema
