It's important to eliminate answers you know are wrong and to read the entire question and answers carefully. Words like "most likely" or "best" in relation to the answer choices may indicate that the answer is not 100% correct but is the most plausible based on scientific principles. When answering questions, even if you feel like you totally understand it, find key words and define them. - Mitosis, for example, is a type of cell division that creates body cells in animals (including humans) and is involved in growth, tissue repair, and asexual reproduction in some organisms. It creates two identical diploid cells with the exact same DNA as the parent cell. During mitosis, cells spend most of their time preparing for division and less time actually dividing. The process involves the stages of prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase, followed by cytokinesis; - Fungi are heterotrophic organisms that have cytoplasm, cell walls, and are eukaryotic. They are decomposers, breaking down organic matter; - Bacteria can be autotrophic or heterotrophic and most have cell walls. They are prokaryotic, unicellular organisms with ribosomes. Mutations in bacteria can help them develop immunity/resistance against antibiotics, similar to how animals evolve through evolution. It's important to understand the relationships between concepts in the questions and how to interpret diagrams based on that. A testing strategy that helped me was to eliminate choices I knew were wrong and select the best answer, flagging the question to come back to it later. Going back and double-checking can help clarify any questions you struggled with. MOST IMPORTANTLY READ THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS CAEFULLY TO AVOID OVERLOOKING IMPORTANT INFORMATION OR WORDS THAT SWIFT THE MEANING OF THE STATEMENT! I hope this helps! Mine is tmr, I have a few questions lol: More info on the ecology, don’t quite remember that, and the viscosity of blood, liquid?? For the natural selection and processes, what exactly does that mean? Does it speak about founder or bottleneck effect? Was that found on the test anywhere?? And last question is the microscope one, what exactly did it ask, what should I know about microscopes, and what is the overall thing to study for the eoc? I paid attention all year long and got A’s in all quarters and for my Sem1 exam as well. Would really appreciate if you get to this tonight, my exam is tmr at 7:25!!!!!!

@@zigzawg - Ecology you need to understand how different organisms interact in their environment. And just have a basic understanding of how environments operate. - Natural selection and other processes you need to know about what makes an organism fit for their environment and how they evolve and adapt. Mechanisms of evolution like genetic drift. They mentioned names of scientist for me but told me in the prompt what they contributed/discovered. I didn't get anything specifically speaking on the bottleneck effect or genetic drift. - Viscosity of blood is how thick it is. Thicker it is, the slower it'll flow. (The thicker the blood, or the more viscous, the slower it will flow. This means that high viscosity in blood will cause an increase in the resistance of blood flow within the blood vessels. The increase in resistance will cause the blood to flow slower, hence making the heart work harder. Temperature is one factor that affects blood viscosity. Blood becomes thick when it gets colder.) - The question on microscopes showed me two microscopes (light and electron magnetic) and asked which one is better for viewing cells and why. So, comparing them. I don't know anything about microscopes, so I Had to figure out which one mad more sense to me. Now that I can google it, Google says light microscopes not magnetic ones bc magnetic ones can't view living cells. - Overall things are everything on cells, environments/ecosystems, evolution and genetics. BUT REMEMBER THAT EVERYONES QUESTIONS ARE DIFFERENT AND ITS NOT TOO COMPLICATED IF YOU KNOW THE BASICS AND CAN DEFIINE WORDS TO UNDERSTAND THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWER CHOICES. SOME FACTS ON THE TOPICS YOUR ASKING ABOUT ARE: 1. In an energy pyramid, the organism(s) at the top receive the least amount of energy. With 10% of energy being loss through heat. 2. Abiotic factors are Nonliving. Biotic are living. 3. Genetic drift is random/by luck. 4. Homology is when organisms are similar due to common ancestry, similar structures. 5. Vestigial structures are structures that no longer serve their original purpose due to evolutionary changes. 6. Theory of evolution: states that living things change slowly over time in response to changes in their environment. 7. Producers are usually plants. Primary consumers eat producers and so on. (There is more energy on the bottom trophic levels and more organisms.) **ANYTHING ELSE JUST REPLY HOPEFULLY I SEE IT. ILL BE CHECKING.

But definitely Ecology is a topic everyone has, I didn't have Water, Organic Compounds of those topics in mine for some reason, but I heard one of my friends have the diagram for the cell types so definitely study on those 👍
