Hi Mr Ronan, I've got my exam in 3-4 days and i did four mocks - two from Kaplan and two from CFAi and my scores are all averaging in the 50s. I already finished practicing all practice questions from the CFAI LES portal more than 3 weeks back with a 72% accuracy and have have done all ethics questions since then and have been reviewing ethics everyday yet my ethics scores are averaging in the 50s in the mocks. I did solve an additional 100-150 questions from two kaplan papers and have mostly been busy re reading all chapters and solving all solved examples from my Kaplan books as well as topic quizzes. Had been reviewing all mistakes and tough questions from the Les and have reviewed all my solved mocks once but i finally just finished one complete revision now and still feeling low confidence over my poor mock scores. Dont think i have time to re review the q bank for each topic now, what should I do?

Study the mock exam questions you missed now. Try to master the correct solution steps for them. Good luck on your exam, if you do not get the exam result you seek feel free to become our student next time. We can help you pass confidently. May the odds be in your favor this week. Practice qbank questions at Level 2 are easier than mock exam questions, as you are finding out. This is even more the case for Level 3.

how was your exam how would you rate it on difficulty level compared to mocks??

Hello! Level 2 was a challenging exam when I took it because I realized afterwards that the Level 1 study approach I used for Level 2 didn't work as well. Chalk & Board mocks are designed to help prepare you for the types of things you could see on the exam without going "overboard" and being intentionally difficult. If you take a range of high quality mocks from good mock sources, including current CFAI mocks, you should be adequately prepared. Don't worry if you get low scores at first. Focus on learning from your mock exam mistakes and you will be stronger on exam day due to this. Good luck on your exam!

Hey Nathan, thank you so much for sharing this video. I have my L2 in 3 days and was feeling nervous, seeing your video gave me immense confidence. I have a small doubt, how many mock exams would you recommend is sufficient for clearing the exam? I have already completed 7 mocks, is it sufficient? Thanks again 😊

There's no magic number for mock exams. If you have taken 7 high quality mock exams, preferably from MULTIPLE prep providers so you get to see different ways of wording questions (definitely including the CFA Institute exams among them), you should be fine. Good luck on your test!
