Since you’re mentioning Airbnb for Malaysia. Did you use Airbnb also in bangkok and was the immigration ok with that as it seems that airbnb is illegal in Thailand.

Hello👋 thank you so much. So heartwarming to hear you watch with the kids as a family🤗 AirBnb is 100% legal in Thailand As long as the owners are following the rules according to the property type, then they can use any of those booking channels to get rental guests. Residential condo owners CAN use Airbnb - but they must do monthly or longer rentals. Anything shorter may be illegal I believe. Thailand rules are forever changing so you’d have to do your due diligence. 🙌🙌Always good to do further research. DM us on Instagram if you have any other questions. Also I’ve linked the service apartment we stayed at in the description. Better for short term rentals. Mr. Tonni is the landlord and he’s amazing. Tell him we sent you, you might get a discount 😉 Have an amazing trip🤗
