Last Minute Easter Crafts

Here are two last minute Easter crafts that I wanted to share before Easter was over.

I love the vintage plate idea and that banner is absolutely adorable. I love that you used the vintage colors of Easter. That's how I remember Easter. To me Easter isn't Easter without the true traditional colors of Easter. When my kids where little our church would have someone that dressed up as the Easter bunny. We always had a play on Easter morning about the resurrection of Christ. Then the kids where allowed to go out to the parking lot to hunt Easter eggs. They always had things in their eggs like cross necklaces, bible verses and things like that. The Easter bunny would give each child a little Easter basket and take pictures with the child. My kids absolutely loved Easter at church. They were always so excited to go to church on Easter morning and they were definitely taught the true meaning of Easter. Things have changed so much since then. I don't think many churches do things like that anymore. I feel if it's fun for the kids they will never forget. Vintage colors always bring back those beautiful memories of Easter to me. 💗🐇🐣🌼🐤🌸

Thank you Darlene, I have happy memories of Easter too. I would always put on my little patent leather shoes, my white gloves and Easter hat to go to church but not before I would have to pose in front of my mother's massive Azalea bushes that grew in her yard for a Easter picture. I can remember it like it was yesterday.

Oh Becky your plates turned out Absolutely Beautiful. But your Banner is the prettiest banner I have seen in a long time. You are such a joy to watch and when you Laugh I have to Laugh with you. Becky I hope I didn't hurt your feelings in the last video. When I said I think I hear David pulling in the driveway. I just thought it might make you smile. As I like to make people SMILE. You did it again! More fun diy. Nice that you credited Tricia. You both are so creative. I needed this today I have not been well and you brought some sunshine into my life. I loved the Easter baskets you made the other day. I did that for many years for my kids too. I even would hide things all through the house but with their names on it. I think they would be so cute, also I think a banner with the birthday person's head cut out with little paper hats glued on. How cute would that be. I need to plan a party for someone. LOL!

She is getting married. Her wedding is set for May of next year. Her finance lives not far from us. They will live about a mile from my house. ❤️
