When I was coming up we called this potpourri

@@chloeainsworth4334 I’m not sure if there is a difference. My mom used to get potpourri when I was growing up too but we always used it dry to scent wherever we put it or just as decoration. But I feel like the ones I’ve seen were always like dried thicker wood shavings, dried flowers (which I would assume you could do for a simmer pot as well) but we never put them in the stove in water. Did you use them in water when you were growing up?
