"classy" iowa "fans" really had the audacity to whine about not being #1 in the rankings over SC but lost to an unranked squad in K-State....😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂clark is clearly a selfish player and has let all the hype and praise get to her head...at the 3:27 mark of this video you can see her attitude, she doesn't even want to huddle and come up with a game plan with her teammates after the ball was stolen from her...she was exposed last year and the exact reason why they lost to LSU...have never seen or understood the hype about clark....her team has really fed into the mindset that she is their only hope lol...look how quick her teammate just turns around and throws her the ball with no vision of the defense waiting to steal...lol...

She's a great player, however, look how many times she shoots, misses and then fails to get back on defense. The last play...she made no effort! I realize the game was over but she should have gone for the ball and played defense. She launched the 3, hit air and stood out of bounds for a bit...I would've yanked her!

I said it and I'll say it again, without rigged officiating most of these teams would lose more often. Even here they tried to cheat for Iowa. After KState hit the big shot, there was 29.9 seconds left, that's when the officials whistled and there was a dead ball. But they changed it to 31.0 seconds, 2 seconds added for a potential game tying shot. And even worse, allowing the coach to call a timeout WITHOUT full possession of the basketball, with one ref signaling a jumpball which gave possession to KState, while the other ref is signaling for a timeout, THEY BOTH ARE SEEING THE SAME SCRAMBLE FOR THE BALL. I'm a Michigan fan, and it pleases me to see Iowa lose because the same cheating has been going on, and we were cheated out of many games against Iowa in the past. It looked like they blew us out, but the officiating created so many frustrating sequences, we couldn't compete with Iowa AND the officials. Karma will eventually catch up.

@@RPW67 first off you completely ignored like 90% of the post, which was about THIS GAME which the officials attempted to rig the game for Iowa. Second, since that has been proven here, then the loss by 24 points is also apart of rigging the game for Iowa. Do I have to spell it out how a team can gain a 24 point lead?

An over-hyped one-woman team. Clark, shot 32 of Iowa's 61 shots, lol. Who the hell does that? Even Jordan never shot more than 50% of his team's attempts. What's most comical is for this entire video clip and then some before this clip, Clark was the only player to shoot the ball for Iowa - everybody else was afraid to take a shot. Watch how with every possession, the other four players are all looking for Clark to save them. It made the defense by KS so easy....just stay on Clark like a cheap suit.

I don’t know about the overhyped comment, since they’re now 16-1 and ranked 3rd in the nation. Every great player goes through streaks when they don’t play their best and Caitlin is no different. I’m sure she has the green light from her coach to keep shooting. K State is also a good team and no doubt had something to do with the off night.

@@GregDinAZ - Unfortunately, your reasoning is flawed - They are 16-1 BECAUSE THEY DON'T PLAY ANYONE, lol. Have you looked at their schedule? Their non-conference schedule was a joke..the only competitive team they played non-conference was Va Tech - and that game was on a neutral site. Other top-10 teams not only play in far tougher conferences - PAC 12, SEC, ACC - but they also chose to play tough non-conference schedules against each - just compare the schedules. Even when Iowa plays its Big-10 conference schedule, it still won't be playing any of the top 10 schools. That explains their 16-1 record. The Big 10 is hands down the weakest women's BB conference. As far as their #3 ranking, its a reflection of the game's financial investors and the ESPN publicity machine that nonstop promotes Clark to take advantage of her appearance and market appeal. Nobody with at least half a brain is foolish to think Iowa is anywhere near the #3 best club in the game. Just go down the list...The idea that Iowa would beat UCLA, LSU, Stanford, Colorado, Utah, NC State, SC, Texas, Baylor, or even Florida State, among others, on a neutral court is comical. Those 10 teams alone let you know Iowa is not even a top 10 team, but "rankings" are subjective and political and often based on financial promotional factors, not who really has the better team. The ability to promote Caitlin Clark to new fans who identify with her leads to more money for sponsors and promoters. This is Clark primary value. Her team won't and never have won any championships (high school or college), but she can be used to promote and grow the game.

Caitlin was definitely off her game in this one. This team doesn't appear as strong as last year's team. Height plays a bigger part in women's basketball because jumping is not so much a factor. That's how Kansas beat Iowa.

First,these are kids i mean c'mon man. Look at these comments. I don't like how the media tries so desperately to push Iowa and CC like their head and shoulders above everyone else. Well ratings i guess, and we understand the culture/climate in America so it's not shocking. CC is a hell of a player, and you can't take that from her. Because she's just another overrated player, who chokes when it matters most. Yeah she is the female Curry, both pampered by the media and even officials, but when it's time to lead the team...they choke under the pressure. Even the commentators were so agitated they were losing. KState came in their house and simply won, played great defense and didn't let Clark chunk up all those wacky 3s. Michigan Wolverine here, we're still undefeated lol. It's funny because Michigan was listed as 1st in the division prior to Iowa's loss. Good day for Michigan, GOBLUE.

That shot with 20 seconds left just shows me she’s extremely selfish and only cares about herself it’s ok to take jumpers not all those deep 3’s when her shooting was terrible she was going for big headlines and missed poor shot everyone is quiet on her poor body language as well .. congratulations k-state !

Clark and her manager have done a great job of marketing her "highlights" video and selling it as her "norm". Clark is overhyped .... that final minute ws a s**t show by Iowa.

You are a prisoner of the moment and do not know the game of basketball. Look at the stats if you can't watch teh game and refuse to believe the highlight films. She's the real deal, a great leader, and a wonderful spokesperson for sports in general and women's sports in particular.

Dude conveniently ignores the game-winners and leading the Hawks past teams like Indiana, Ohio State, Kansas State (whom they beat 10 days after this), Louisville, and South Carolina. THIS is what he wants to highlight. Every great player stinks it up sometimes. Upsets will happen. There is a reason she will go #1 in the draft. People are absolutely unreasonable and insane.
