Yes to a top sheet! I know some prefer to have just the duvet, but I get too hot with a duvet or comforter over me. I do like to have a sheet to cover with. I HATE staying at hotels because most have gone to the No top sheet, but do layer the duvet between two sheets. All the beds in my home have a top sheet, a light weight blanket, then a quilt and/or comforter. Options for covering up is the way I roll!

I don't like using a top sheet but my husband does. So I just tuck in the top sheet on my side and sleep without it and he gets under the top sheet on his side. So far it's working ok 💜💙💚💛🧡

I'm a weirdo when it comes to top sheets, I prefer them in the warmer months, with just a thin blanket. They seem to hold the cool air better.. I do not use them late fall into spring. I started leaving off the top sheet when you suggested it and I don’t even miss it. My husband mentioned it but now I think he’s ok with not having it. We have a king size bed and it’s cumbersome to make. I love skipping that step!

I like a top sheet because I hate removing my duvet to wash bi-weekly. (the duvet would actually be touching your skin more if no top sheet is used) I really need to learn an easier way to put a duvet on the comforter! Happy Holiday

We didn't use to use a top sheet for the same reasons, but then I found that I would have to wash my duvet more often as it was directly on our skin. Now we use a top sheet and it serves two purposes. It protects our duvet from being over washed and with me turning into a heat monster at night, as one of the many benefits of menopause, I can just toss the duvet or blanket to my hubby's side and be more comfortable in just a sheet. Oh, your rug at the front door is very appropriate. It is the most wonderful time of the year. Even if the holidays are depressing, it’s still the most wonderful time of the year! As far as the bedding yeah I think it’s kind of weird. I have to have the sheet, although it’s funny my best friend and I were talking and her son that is 30 years old him and his girlfriend don’t sleep with top sheets so she’s not been putting a top sheet on her bed when they come home. But she says she hates it because the comforter or the bedspread are so heavy and they take longer to dry and wash so she would prefer they use a sheet over just a comforter lol and I’m too hot natured so sheet preferably because I can always kick the comforter off. So my vote is put a shirt on so when I come to see you lol lol lol😂😂❤

I use a top sheet, mainly because I always have but my thoughts are it keeping the bedspread/quilt from having to be laundered as often. I only wash mine quarterly. I would think it would wear it out sooner to wash it more.

Yep I use a top sheet! 🛌That trip to the car wash with the high octane Christmas music was quite trippy! AWWW Tyger looking all spruced up! So so cute. We bought an Airstream travel trailer in 2020. The bed was tucked in the corner and impossible for me to make. I discovered Betty's Bedding and I loved it so much that I bought a set for our king size bed at home. It has a zipper so it is super easy to make.

We are hot sleepers living in Texas. We use a top sheet and empty duvet cover during the summers. And add a a throw on top in winter.

I understand the reasoning why some people do not use the top sheet. However, for me, I guess I sleep hot and sometimes sweat and also because I have a skin condition and so it sometimes I’m flaking skin and stuff like that I prefer not to get that on my blankets and stuff which are more difficult to wash so therefore I use a top sheet. And since I sleep hot, sometimes having just the sheet on me is enough cover. I love the concept of having extra nice gifts around that you could gift for unexpected gifts but that you could also use for yourself. Great idea. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Hope you and your family get well soon. We ditched the top sheet a few years ago. It’s easier to make the bed without it. Apparently, we are wild sleepers at our house and I was always getting tangled up in the sheet. Plus I need to sleep with one foot out. Duvets are our best friend when it comes to washing the bedding.
