True but they cut us P3D users out of getting 8.33khz radios. Flying in Europe is a nightmare in PMDG products for P3D. $140 product that can't be used on VATSIM without using the .com1 command in Europe.

How do these long flights work? Do you really sit 8 hours in front of your PC or do you go to sleep? and if so, how does it work with ATC?

If you do a long haul on VATSIM, you have to do it in real time. If you’re in uncontrolled airspace, you don’t have to be on your chair all the time. But if you’re in an airspace with ATC, I would recommend to be present. You can ask the ATC for a max 30min break from the cockpit! Hope this helped

I got P3D just for the 777 a few days ago. Absolutely love it. Worth it too. Couldn’t wait for the PMDG for MSFS or the FF for X-Plane. Plus, this one has been tried and tested, and has all the variants for my long haul needs. I’ll be sticking with this aircraft for a long time even well after the 2 new 777s have been released. Plus P3D v5 actually performs better on my PC than both XP12 and MSFS. Ranking in order: 1: 777 2: 787 3: 747
