Last Oasis - Best Mollusc Build (solo/duo)

In this video, I'm showing off one of the most the newest walker used in Last Oasis and how you should build them to be optimal for your daily solo/duo activities. All objects onboard have been placed strategically to make it hard for enemies to board you and to give you the most protection possible against enemies. I wish you the best of luck out there nomads.

I feel like a lot of the walkers in last oasis benefits greatly from the *Tarkin Doctrine* which is a starwars war doctrine that focuses on ship design with an arrowhead shaped bow and turrets overarching the shape of the bow to maximize forward firepower.

You can place 2 Large 1 Medium on the bottom, 1 large where u have it on top, 1 large beside that on the left side. 2 stompers inside in the front/ 1 advanced fiber inside on one side, 1 advanced woodworking inside on the other side, a bunch of other junk in the air like ur cooker. Put the machines in before u put the boxes on bottom as they prevent placing things inside. GL.

Sounds really good, but I don't need the machines to be honest since we have a crafting schmitterling, which crafts insanely fast. But having a few machines for basic crafts wouldn't hurt I guess. 🤙

@@AnthasGaming Yeah, I am using it as a farming walker and just bank on our fob. The machines can help pump out basic mats like earth wax as I farm.

I prefer to have fiberworking station and woodworking station bellow deck too and smaller chests to make place for them. Also, i would like to use "bait" chests on the top deck instead of hidden ones. Hidden chests are pretty common knowledge already. But some bait chests may draw attention to the top deck, away from you, so you can make escapes from the bottom door with your loot on foot, since the back bottom door can't be simply body blocked or camped. Also raiders tend to give up on your character if there are plenty of chests on the deck, since they'll think you try to lure them away, so you can respawn and drive away, since you couldn't loot the chest on the top deck, so anything would be there is not reallocated.

Previously, I cannot pack the base with rupuu's sentries attached to the base. Maybe they enabled it.

Yeah, they disabled them. But since base unpacking takes time now, the enabled us placing rupus on bases again. 😆

Timed packing was origianlly a thing in beta, then they disabled it due to some issues (also disabling rupu packing, because insta-drop rupus would be stupid), but because people abused being able to istantly drop structures in pvp (such as walls, cages and more) they had to work to get it fixed so it could be on a timer again. So, when people online complain about this 'change', then they need to realsie it's going back to original intention and is in fact way less OP

had a build nearly like that..and i got raided...cause the steering Wheel was on top.now i got it inside and i hate to drive..you cant see shit from inside...hate that walker now.that Thing make no sense..only as a Transporter from A to B

There are three things that this walker is good at as a solo... 1: subdeck crafting station, so your stations craft while you are on the move 2: You can respawn, without being instantly yoinked, the back door can't be body blocked efficiently, so you can wait out a situation when you can make a run for your life with your loot. Bait chests on the deck helps to draw the attention away, and the bottom door is pretty good for escaping. Getting to a forest before you do that is advised tho. Your chances to vanish are the best there. And the third yeah.... you are right.... A to B transfers, or "surviving" until you reach your safe spot on the tile. But that's hindered since it is tall, so it's easily tripped.

There is a better way for you to get out and get in without open any door. If enemy jump on your ship they will likely break the quick grapple right away. And if u want to change the steering wheel, you can change it while inside aswell.

What do you mean by change? If your steering isnt destroyed, you cant have two steering levers operating 1 walker.

@@Dracikunda If your steering is on top and right next to your hatch door you can reach it from inside with the pack base function. I thought of this idea myself, but to my knowledge you're not allowed to move anything if your walker takes damage. So if you do choose to try this, you'll need to be quick on the grab before the attackers can actually do any damage.

Meshing boxes is bannable, doing that also shows how bad you are. The ballista's field of view is very narrow, pretty much useless. Repeater cannot shoot anything that is on the lower ground due to rails, so also useless. Fob guarded by 1 door and having small/med boxes - useless. Statement "best" - irrelevant :) Sorry for not being positive about it, but that is what it is.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. The chests placed into the mullusc is not bannable offence because they can be broken and looted. The mollusc is not a war walker you will use the ballista to harpoon fragment boxes. The repeater will only be used for defence on the deck, because its solo/duo build not war pvp build. The base is protected by rupu slings which i mentioned hence why no airlock. You really should start listening before responding garbage. This makes your comment pretty much useless. I can admit when something is bad or wrong or if there are other things which would improve the build. But whatever you have mentioned is pretty dumb. Sorry.
