Will be a shame not to see the iconic Eddie stobart livery on the trucks anymore or names I'm 33 and spent my childhood in the passenger seat of my dad or grandads truck and we always used to play a game to see who can spot the most Eddie stobart trucks we had hours of endless fun

The white Stobarts units here, were originally green and have spent a short period as a white Culina truck.

Well thats a lot of trucks hitting the market at one time Scania would take them when they supplied new trucks,but doubt they will take that many could be that Culina has to make big cuts in the fleet all seem to be R 450's so a very usable truck no matter what haulage you do well done for filming them this is history happening and you have filmed it.

Just watched your last video again just spotted one of my old spots Ffion Haf H5216 are all the stobart units from Appleton are they are they brought from other external sites & exchanged for new culina units tried to work out witch site though it mite be foundry lane but there again I could be wrong

They’re from all depots, into Appleton and transferred to this site and another site. I’ll be posting more next week

Is this just the process of them replacing the older trucks with newer ones? I guess keeping them white and black cuts down on the costs associated with having them wrapped and will make them easier to move on in the future

I understand Culina want to reduce costs by not wrapping the trucks but the new "Stobart" trucks could atleast say Stobart on them at the top of the window instead of Culina. Instead of having Stobart above the fleet number.

End of an era..... I've never been a great fan of Stobart but after being in trucking for a number of years the colour scheme and livery will be missed I'm sure by many up and down our motorways, obviously the company as moved away from the original family business and it's traditions which for a long time were set in stone, I'm sure these trucks will live on in private ownership and taken to truck meetings for a long time to come.

Because Culina Group is a faceless corporation that understands nothing of the value of the Brand Identities it acquires and strips them down to generic conformity. Eddie Stobart was a household name that should have been preserved and capitalised upon; instead it's been reduced to a tiny script on the door of the cab.
