It was mentioned that Foggy worked for Northern Dairy prior to the war. In "First of the Summer Wine" he worked as a sign painter for the Highway Department and was in the military reserve force.

Can't watch these, sorry. The download quality is poor and the screen size keeps jumping from close up to far out. Frustrating. If you upload to a channel best to first learn the technicalities of the art first 😕
