I just shared this again with my morning devotional group as we are studying 1st Chronicles and family. I am so grateful that I am a direct descendant of Paul Qualls.

One of these videos was taped on 11/29/89. It was the same day my older brother went to meet the Lord in a car accident. He was 24. It doesn't matter whether you are in your 70's or md-20's, you will be called to go. Make sure you are ready.

Hi Amanda, Guess we all have trouble typing. The sound fellow doing the taping in the church mispelled "Qualls" too. Certainly was happy to get the video of Squire Parsons, God bless, Jim Jim

I remember hearing him sing at his father's church in the 1950s. He was a man with a tender heart.

Thank you for sharing this. What a wonderful testimony your Father left with his last revival song. It is a blessing to hear even these many years later - it touched my heart and my soul as I listened today.

Wow, this is really touching. There is something so sweet and precious in hearing the words of an older saint and seeing how the Lord has grown more dear and closer through the years. Thanks for this video, Paul. What a beautiful legacy your dad has left to you.

The closing songs of Dad's revival meeting with Ralph Sexton at Trinity Baptist Church, Asheville, NC. Video was taken just a few weeks before dad went "Home" to be with his "Friend Jesus." These clips were taken from a VHS video the church made during the revival. My thanks to the Singing Smiths who sent me the original videos. Note: The misspelling of "Qualls" was a typo in the production of the original video

Dear Worldwide, The "gods" that have not made the earth shall PERISH from the earth. Jer. 10:11 That would include ALL gods except the God of Scripture, known to Jews and Christians as the God of Israel!

I remember fondly the singing of Paul Qualls at campmeetings
@gloriacardona62673 жыл бұрын
Jim, thank you so much for sharing the videos of your father singing - they bring back wonderful memories! I don't know if you ever went to the campmeetings he used to sing for, but he was a fixture at Beulah Camp in Alabama in the 70s and 80s. They had two acoustic pianos in the main tabernacle; your mother would play on one, and my mother - also named Mae - would play the other one. Just glorious!

Dear springwellssw, Thanks for stopping by and confirming that Moe's "jesus" of the Koran is NOT the Jesus of the New Testament.

Doesn't he remind you a little of Tennessee Ernie Ford? Both legends.

BARNUMandBENTLEY This is comment from JimQualls "JimQualls (1 week ago) Greetings ALL: Don't pay any attention to BigWhore. He follows me around, so I use him to up the view counts by responding to him. Jim "

@JimQualls16 жыл бұрын
Hi usgop, These guys think that just because Moe named his character "jesus" that the Christians would accept him.I tell the Muslims I knew a Cuban baseball player named Jesus. He played great short stop, but he wasn;t the Jesus of the New Testament.

Dear Worldwide, It was over six hundred years AFTER Jesus the Jew rose from the grave and ascended to heaven sit at the right hand of His Father. Jews and Christians were not marrying babies then.
@JimQualls16 жыл бұрын
Dear Worldwide, That was thousands of years ago and he was twelve, Mohammed was about 54 when he married the 6 year old baby girl. That was 600 years after Jesus the Jew went to sit at the Right Hand of the Father. Jews and Christians weren't marrying six year old baby girls when Mohammed did.

Dear WorldWide, I have never lied about Islam. Islam's history is plain for anyone to see and evaluate. It would seem to me that with your accusations, that you, perhaps, are the one attempting to deceive. The purported prophet of Islam did marry a six year old baby girl and then claimed he did not "experience" her in marriage until she was nine. Was he lying?
