A beautiful and cold day of December and I decided to take a last ride on my Honda Transalp. I was itching for another ride and I also thought of sharing my impressions on my first year of ridding.

Hello, thanks for sharing your thoughts. You definitely look like a seasoned rider already! I share your point regarding living in Toronto, it takes a lot of effort to get to a trail.

It is coming soon. It is a bit cold here but as soon as we get some sun I will change the springs. Thanks for watching.

We have somewhat similar motorcycles. I have a 2022 Kawasaski KLX300 and I have a 2018 Suzuki V-Strom 650. My 650 has heated grips and a larger, after-market windscreen that help me deal with the colder temperatuers. I also have an electrically heated vest that I can plug into my V-Strom. I have electrically heated insoles but the batteries don't last long. My V-Strom has lots of modifications that you should consider for your Transalp. I live in Barrie. I'd gladly meet you to show you my V-Strom and go for a ride with you.

I installed heated grips on my Transalp too, I am going to try them out in spring. I would love to meet and share some ideas and ride.
