Still have my Mohawk canoe = 13ft Solo. It's been with me since around 1995. 30 years in Arizona and it's still as tuff as when I bought it....................Thanks Mohawk!

I loved my XL 13, but had to sell it. I still have my 16’ Whitewater. Crazy tough canoes, daggum shame.

Mike Buford they are great boats. I still have mine. Unfortunately I had to leave these great group of folks but they are still working hard at it. One of the best experience in my work history.

Hi Mike and Mr. Jones, I'm thinking about buying a 1992 Probe 14. Would this be a good boat for my young son and I to use in shallow, lower flowing rivers here in Maryland?

It video finished abruptly, anyone know why?

Any chance they will be switching to T-formex?

I am not sure as I have moved from this company. Great folks though and from my understanding they still sell accessories. Jump on the website or Facebook and shoot them an email or message.

How long have they been using Royalex? Did they use it on the intrepid?
@CrunkBones14 жыл бұрын
Hey Anthony, as far as how they have used Royalex I don't know. I had an Intrepid and built several that were made of Royalex. Do you have an I.D. number?
@anthonyfesta12244 жыл бұрын
Crunk Bones Jones I haven’t picked it up yet just bought it off of FB market place. When I get it I’ll call Mohawk with the serial #. thanks

Sad day this was the last Royalex Mohawk:) HAs anyone heard if there are plans to start producing them?
@CrunkBones16 жыл бұрын
Jim Rodgers there's been talk and I've seen prototypes. Couldn't imagine royalex coming back but the guys at the hawk have been working hard on bringing something new to the table.
@NearlyNativeNursery6 жыл бұрын
yes so true but so many white water and river excursion canoe hulls are no longer being made. Plus the new materials are way out of the cost range for the average paddler.

I have one if you need one.

That's a Probe. Tony, sadly to my knowlege they are no longer building boats at Mohawk. If I'm wrong, hopefully I'll be corrected. And then I'll buy a Solo 14!

Dan Massingill sorry for the year long reply. Last I was told they still have a few royalex boats in stock. I've seen some stuff they are working hard on. I, unfortunately, no longer work there but they aren't done yet. Great group of guys!

Yes. What material is used now?

Tony Smith not sure now. They were doing some big changes whenever I left them. They looked to be going in a really good direction. I hope they have everything worked out. Great dudes to work for.

Not sure now. They were moving in another Direction due to the death of Royal Lex. They really had things looking up for them. That's been a while ago since I work for them. I'm anxious to see what they have going on now. Great group of guys. One of the best experience jobs I've had.
