Not just the vocals and lyrics and stuff, but all the production as well. My dad is an avid music lover. He knows talent when he hears it. I think it's a blessing that you are able to take a situation like that, something you regretted from years ago, and you can turn it into such a great song. Perhaps your shyness was a side-affect to what also makes you such a terrific songwriter. You're a deep thinker. You see the heart of situations and you are able to bring what you find there to the surface in such articulate ways. You’re a poet at heart, Chris, and I think a lot of other poets probably were shy at school dances too. ;o)

@stewierocks2323 The keyboard with the drum pads is called the Axiom 61. It's just a controller that hooks up to my computer & plays the sounds from my recording program. So the drums you're hearing are actually coming from my computer & not the keyboard itself. But yeah, I really like the pads. They're touch sensitive so you can get a great "feel" when laying down drum grooves. Thanks again for watching!!!!

Oh man I can relate to this,I was the same way too shy to even talk to a girl in high school.never went to the dances. :) Great tune Chris you speak for all of us that were left behind to just dream about those girls back then. I dig the words,well done and the music I love! it's a beautiful pop tune great melody. You're the complete artist Chris the best there is. Great vocals harmonies music lyrics instrumentation. hmmmm, interesting indeed! It certainly could be that type of girl now that you mention it...someone having loads of fun on the dance floor while our hero is sitting in the shadows wondering how to ask her for a dance. This whole song was actually inspired by the first school dance I went to back in jr high. Ahhh, I was so shy back then. I'm glad I was able to shake a good deal of that off. ha. :) Thanks for watching!

What a beautiful song. And by the way. I don't know if you have already done this, but I think it would be awesome if you could do a whole video showing us your gear. I mean; all the instruments, programs and others that you use to record your songs and videos. You should also tell us how and when you have got the instruments, like if you bought them by yourself, or they were a gift or something. Just asking, but I think that would be cool.
