A true hero. he gave up his own power and avoided major bloodshed. Maybye it was just because he realised the game was lost but still, he could like many leaders have clinged on to power way to long with many deaths as the result....

91 years is a pretty good age. Disappointing that so few journalists seem to have interviewed him and that he wasn't interviewed about circumstances surrounding the fall of the Berlin wall, the discussions regarding NATO and the Warsaw Pact and what exactly was agreed in particularly with regard to the commitment not to move NATO one inch east

Lol, why should we grieve that this lousy jackal traitor died? In Russia, this is a holiday) And yes, if you don’t understand, they blame him not for the fact that the USSR fell apart, it’s obvious to everyone that communism is a dead-end path, an unrealizable utopia, something like Christianity. But what he did he gave away the territories that our ancestors conquered for 1000 years without any compensation, moreover, he robbed his people when Russia took on the debts of other 14 countries. He gave Germany without compensation without written guarantees that NATO would not expand. So do not be surprised that he we all curse and hated traitor

This man was a fraud who further destroyed his nations economy. He was hated by his countrymen because of the severe economic hardships his reforms brought, including the incarcerations, the lack of freedoms and the killings of the Baltics. He was a fraud who convinced the west that he was a reformer when in truth he was just a wolf masquerading as such

World wide, no more powerful men abuses but big companies having the duty to share a cut of their profits with employees and workers, at least 20% every end of the year, fighting back arrogance once for all, fighting back new forms of slavery exploitation and powerful people cynical trend towards new slaves to be exploited with no limits either remorse, let it finaly work his true ambition which was ...not removing comunist regime to be replaced with organized crime mafia mass murderers regime, let's get it straight guys
