Last stage cancer survivor (Hindi) | Ovarian cancer story

Mrs. Anita Choudhary was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2013. She had disease progression twice- in 2016 and 2017. She received chemotherapy thrice, radiofrequency ablation once in 2016 and was on targeted therapy since 2019, being treated first in Bangalore and then in Indore. Even with stage 4 cancer, she lived her life normally while continuing to receive treatment. She was part of many cancer support groups in Indore. Anita ji had requested 'Is Mod Par' to provide her personal number to all viewers who emailed in order to contact her. She was a source of support to all those who connected with her after watching this video. This video was shot in 2021. Sadly, Anita ji passed away on 15/08/2023, after surviving 10 years with last stage ovarian cancer. May she rest in peace. Team 'Is Mod Par' applauds her positive attitude, courage, resilience and kindness. We hope that her story continues to inspire everyone.

Nice to hear your fight thru this video against cancer, my wife too is diagnosed wth stage 2 ovarian cancer, went thru surgery and her ovary and uterus has been removed in tata memorial hospital mumbai and now undergoing 6 chemos. In such hard time family, friends, employers if working all should give strength to such patients and provide support in watever way possible. My wife was working for a well-known company but unfortunately after she was diagnosed wth cancer she lost her job so that was double blow but by god's guidance we are fighting for her fast recovery 🙏🏼

One of my long-time neighbors was diagnosed with ovarian cancer yesterday. The report mentioned "high-grade serous carcinoma," though we're unsure of the stage at this time. She is currently receiving treatment at Tata Hospital, Mumbai, and lives in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Could anyone recommend a support center or group nearby where she can find inspiration and support to aid her recovery journey? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Tata Memorial Centre, at Parel and Kharghar have support groups for patients registered and getting treated at both the hospitals. They also organize multiple activities and events round the year to support and inspire patients. Kindly ask the patient to get in touch with the treating DMG doctor for the same.

My mother is diagnosed with Advance stage of ovarian cancer . Doctor have prescribed for 3 chemotherapy cycle and then surgery followed by again chemo . My mother's chemo will start in fews days . Kindly complete all cycles of chemotherapy as recommended. Repeat scan can be done post chemotherapy to assess disease status. Further treatment plan to be decided accordingly. Also, its possible that nothing else would be required. No need for bevacizumab for now.
