Visigoths, from Eastern Europe that migrated to Spain and North Africa, that sacked Rome and ended the Western Roman Empire before being conquered by the Umayyad Caliphate in the 8th Century and Ostrogoths, also from Eastern Europe that migrated to modern day Germany before splitting from the Visigoths and moving to Central Europe, fought both Western and Eastern Empires before being destroyed by the Eastern Empire in the 6th Century. So no, not Vikings at all.
