Mornings with Granny keep us updated on how things go! It is difficult when you have others to look after to decide when to keep them home. I have 3 kids (2 in school). My husband is in the army, so he certainly can’t stay home! I am just praying everyone makes prudent wise decisions so it’s not a struggle to keep them safe. Love your channel! Mr Tom, the concern that you show for us/ others is truly humbling. Please take care of yourself as well as we all think the world of you! Thank you for all the work that you put into these videos, giving us a picture of the situation in your area and country. Don't be too disheartened about the shop assistant in the store, she may have been told by her employers not to get involved in the subject as not to cause panic. Otherwise, you tried, no one can do more. Take care and god Bless!

Lua B Repenting actually means turning back to the Most High’s Way ie His Torah of which most Christians have been deceived as Christianity teaches it’s been done away. That is actually the REASON for the Father’s Coming Wrath: The REAL Reason For YAH’s Coming WRATH: “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the Torah, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.” YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 24:5-6 את CEPHER KJV MIStranslation BeCUZ Torah means INSTRUCTION, not Law but anyhow... Isaiah 24:5-6 “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.” “Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.” King James Version (KJV) The DOERS of The Torah are the Righteous “For not the hearers of the Torah are just before YAH, but the doers of the Torah shall be justified.” ROMAIYM (ROMANS) 2:13 את CEPHER The Bottom-Line? Regardless of what Christianity teaches, the Father Almighty’s Torah/Instruction was NEVER done away....and was NEVER just for the JEWS. PLEASE look into this MOST VITAL matter as your Eternal Security could be at grave stake... May the Most High lead each of us in His time to His Truth: HalleluYAH! My Mom has COPD, I’m praying hard for y’all that have issues with your lungs. Also, here’s a recipe for elderberry syrup that will save you a lot of money. You can buy the dried elderberries and rose hips on Amazon. 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger 3.5 cups water .5 cup rose hips .75 cup dried elderberries Cinnamon stick Teaspoon ground cloves 1 cup raw honey or maple syrup Combine all ingredients except honey in large pot, bring to a slow boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 45 minutes. Pour mixture through strainer, mash well to drain all juice. Add honey to pressed juice and mix well. Store in the fridge in glass jars. Keeps for 6 months. Take a tbsp daily. If you get sick, take a tbsp every few hours. Edit: Please remember that honey is not safe for infants under one year of age. You can substitute maple syrup for babies. ❤️

Jo Gill additionally, I keep a few wash cloths in the car to dry my hands after soaking in the sanitizer. Then those washcloths get washed in bleach at home every few days. Keeping our hands clean and such should not end after this virus, and keeping those wipes in the car during the hotter months can be problematic for the Long term.

We're in FL in the county with the new case today. My mom got home from rehab today and we decided that we will be staying as isolated as possible. Mom has a weak heart & COPD and the common cold could kill her so we aren't taking chances. Her doctors wanted to transfer her to the hospital where the person with the virus is at and we refused for now unless it's a life or death reason. It's so scary when things hit so close to home. I expect the cases in our state to grow quickly due to spring breakers and tourists coming from all over the world. Our stores are still fairly well stocked for now because many people are oblivious I think. I'm thankful I've been prepping for months now... Great video.

I saw the writing on the wall back in October, so extended my cellar pantry from 3-6 months, depending upon ingredient mentioned, to a 12 month supply of all. Ditto personal care, cleaning items, OTC meds/first aid, and 6-12 months for RX when I was allowed to. Grabbed paper plates, which we normally don't ever use. Slowly, over the past 4 months, I've brought in or had delivered, my supplies, hoping that no one was taking notice (I do have some nosy neighbors who sit on the porch and take note of everything). All is now secured down cellar. Need to come up with some clear privacy plastic to cover the small, cellar windows, allow light in but not peering eyes, KWIM? Also have my garden seeds, more canning jars and lids.

I am a Y2K prepper who sort of got out of the habit in the early 2K's. Still had my wheat, corn, and soy but mostly had used/discarded everything else. About 3 years ago started to restock some items, discarded the corn and soy (spoiled but made good mulch for the garden)and got some more wheat which we had been using in the bread machine anyway. Then built up a pantry using canned goods, rice, and other middle term items. While the wife is not into the whole survival thing she did come from a larger family who had a pantry in the basement. SO by stocking up on normal soups , and other things we use daily she now has her basement supermarket when the shelves go bare upstairs. That is not to say I do not get a case of the freeze dried stuff for my little stash every now and then. Use my hobby money to pay for it so she is not bothered and is sometimes curious as to what I get (powdered butter, and tomato paste, some soups, and other long term items). With this set up when I noticed things getting concerning back in late January just had to fill in some holes, grab some more items for a Bio threat (was not one of the threats on my radar)and stocked up on things that we normally do not keep in abundance (Pet food and pop) due to short shelf lives. Also been working up recipies during my yearly 2 to 3 weeks camping in the summer using canned meats so have a small stock of them also. Mostly Tuna, chicken, and Keystone canned meats (mainly pork and beef with some hamburger also), add in a dozen or so DAK hams (good for bean soup) and 6 or 8 cans of corned beef (add to rice in the steamer) and we are set. As for your basement windows, we use a clear frosted film with the sticky on one side. it sticks to the windows and allows light in but makes it so you can not make out what is in the basement. Also helps our house is over 100 years old so the basement windows have the thicker glass with the chicken wire molded in. Not going to be easy to get in even after they break the glass. Other option is to replace the windows with glass blocks, again you get light but it is difficult to see in.

It's mostly on the east and west coasts. Six passed in Washington State, very sad. Plastic gloves are a must now. Wear 2 pair, one over the other, using the outside pair for shopping and the inside for the car and house. Remove your shoes at the door and spray them with Lysol before bringing them in the house. Remove your clothes in the bathroom and again spray with Lysol then wash in warm or hot water. You're decontaminating yourself and your house. I guess I hurt people's feelings with my abruptness but, I'll keep you alive. Don't forget the water and fluids. And dog/cat food. And don't forget the M&Ms. Peanut or plain. Good luck and stock up. I've been to Walmart & Kroger in the past two days up here in N. Mississippi & it looks like only a few of us are stocking up. I've been stocking up for yrs of course but, I've really kicked in this past month every pay-day. I'm glad you mentioned thermometer because I don't even know where our is if we even have one. Too, my husband is a truck driver & he makes like 500 mile runs back & forth so, I just say a prayer for protection every-time he leaves for God to protect him from the virus & only God knows what else could be out there. Thanks for keeping us up to date & yes, I enjoy your grocery store video's. Too, I'm 56 & my husband is 63 so, we're at risk ourselves due to age & previous smokers.

Whatever you do, please keep your Faith walk strong! If your local church does not stream live sermons and church services, then check out the many good sermons you can find on KZbin. You need to keep your morale and Spirits up. I am in Michigan, and I know what it's like to experience "cabin fever" from being snowed / iced into my home. It's kind of nice for a few days, but going on a week or more, your emotions and mental health can start playing tricks on you. Use this self isolation time to your advantage and keep your mind and body occupied (NOT with the news). Start learning new language. Try picking up a new craft or talent. Do little odd jobs around the house you've been meaning to do. Otherwise your beloved home will become a gilded cage, and you will become a prisoner of your own mind.

Mr. Tom & friends & family, I had to make this post because of concerns I'm having & noticing. With all the talk about 'the bug' & the election circus going on not many are talking about our actual food supply. Some have been noticing food shortages in stores & stores have been restocking over the past few months however, I check the best by dates on cans and some things just aren't showing any 'new' best by dates for 22 & 23. Most of the things in store & on sale especially are all dated for this year or early next year. Are warehouses just selling out all their old stock? Where are the foods from harvest from last year? Are we shorter on stockage in warehouses already? Are warehouses holding onto food to dole out later if we do have large shortages? Plus, now with planting season coming will our grounds & fields be ready to plant this year? I doubt it, personally and so we'll be looking at more shortages of crops for 2020. If people don't stock up now they will be sorry later........ Just felt the need to share.

If we get sick they dont want us going to er but to our primary care provider ( like anyone can get in asap!) They say theyll give the person meds and send them home and monitor them that way. How comforting is that? Too many people are not taking this serious and it's scary. I'm unable to stay home due to being my only income. So I'm doing everything i can do to stay safe.

Hi Tom. Thanks for taking us along with you to the store. I sometimes buy the corned beef hash, and sometimes buy the beef hash, but have not seen it mixed like that. We did a run last night, but there is always something that you think of later that you could need. I don't want us going out now any more than need be. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow and see if we can get more than a 2 month supply of our little dog's seizure medication. Would be awful if we couldn't get that. Don't know what we would do. Just had my husband's meds switched over to 3 month supply, and mine have been for a while now. Hard to get ahead on prescriptions any other way. This thing has me worried. We're both retired so don't have to go out to work at least, but also puts us in that older age bracket. Be nice when later spring time gets here and the nice summer months. At least we can then spend time outside with nature in our backyard. Looking forward to that. And you will have your gardens. I enjoy watching your garden videos. Thanks again, and God bless.

Thank you once again Mr. Tom for this latest trip to your local store and showing all the produce there. Quite a few of the items you showed there, they stock in our stores in the UK too. I haven't been out to the store since a week ago, but I think I'll have to go again soon to pick up a little more to add. Been buying a little extra for a while now, I just felt the need to, but didnt expect it would have been for this reason, as I wanted to help my family out and try to advise them to do so. I mentioned to them about preparing just this weekend, explaining that many ships in dock in China had food for delivery which was wasting as a result of no movement, I just hope they've taken it on board, they're middle aged daughters for goodness sake, and both are working, one in a large hospital in "infection control", was a staff nurse few years ago. Sometimes you feel like shouting wake up, but softly, softly is the best tactic. Anyway, stay safe and well Mr. Tom, our Prime Minister expects this to increase sharply, and is hoping to get retired staff in to cope with what's coming. God bless you and your family and much 💖 to all.

@@vadamsable Then, maybe it's a good thing you read my post. Who knows....it could have been meant specifically for you. That is, if you believe in things happening for a reason (aka synchronicity). I've heard a lot of people say, "It's a good thing I happened along when I did." Anyway, research Activated Charcoal to learn how and why it is used. As for me, I don't know much about it, other than during my 33 years as a pharmacy tech, I know Emergency Rooms keep a supply of it to treat patients who have ingested poisons. Maybe it induces vomiting. I don't know for sure. They used to use Ipecac Syrup for that. But I think they stopped making it for some reason. Probably because the demand was low. As for me, I just keep a bottle of Pepto Bismol on hand, because it always makes me vomit. Another thing you might want to consider is an Epi-pen. I knew a woman who died from an allergic reaction to Rose Fertilizer that contained Fish Meal (powdered/crushed fish bones). She knew she was highly allergic to fish but assumed it was just the edible version. The day she got sick, it was a little windy and she breathed in a bit of the dust from the fish meal as she was tossing it bare-handed onto her roses. A few minutes later, she felt so bad she had to go inside. Her breathing became more difficult and she was rushed to the E.R. After about a month, she appeared to be doing much better. Then WHAM! her condition worsened and she died! Everyone was shocked. Having an Epinephrine pen on hand might have saved her life. If people ever have to revert to consuming wild edibles, it would seem logical that poisonings will happen more often. In a grid-down scenario, and with no EMS, who are you going to call? If more people start growing their own food, use of fertilizers will probably follow, along with more people coming down sick from breathing in that stuff or consuming it from not washing off their harvested crops. Also, people will be spending more time outside, which is where the biting and stinging creatures are...like wasps, bees, ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, gnats. Then there's all the poisonous plants: Ivy, Oak, Sumac, etc. I would think any doctor would be happy to write a prescription for Epi-pen to help those who want to keep stock in their emergency kit. Well, Vivki, God bless and take care.

@@grinning_owl Thank you again. I swear by Pepto Bismol too owl. Once I got some bad food and was throwing up and pooped all night. Had to go to emergency room. The doctor wouldn't do anything for me except tell me to take Pepto Bismol. I have kept a bottle of tabs on hand since.👍👍

@@vadamsable Sounds like you had either the 24-hr or 48-hr stomach virus. I've had it a few times and felt like I was dying. My routine for treatment is sipping water and nibbling on saltines or soft bread. The saltines and bread help to absorb whatever is in your stomach, which in turn, dilutes the bad food and helps slow it down from getting into your system. The water/saltines/bread also helps prevent the "dry heaves". The next day, I switch from water to Ginger Ale and substitute Chicken Noodle Soup for the saltines and or bread. It's important to get fluids back into the body after frequent bouts of diarrhea and vomiting. A chicken bouillon cube dissolved in a cup of hot water also helps. And even though it adds more salt, I will crush up saltines or Ritz crackers into my Chicken Noodle Soup. A cup of hot Tea flavored with some Honey seems to help. When I was growing up, there was no such thing as Electrolyte solutions. And the weirdest thing about those food poisoning is that, of all the foods I ate in a day, I always "knew" which one made me sick. Because the next time I would see it, I would go, "Oh, hell no! I ain't eating THAT!" LOL

Mr, Tom, glad to see you are doing well. Please post your next run to Super Foods. It reminds me of things that I have to get too. Where I live in Bronx, NY, people are taken the virus for granted. Yet, in Manhattan, you see the Chinese population already wearing masks and stocking up. I already have a lot, and will continue to get as much as I can, while I can. I also want to tell you about two off the counter drugs that you may use if needed. One is Arbidol (used by Russians and Chinese), and Lianhua quingwen capsules (Chinese) both are anti viral. The New York Times did a report on Arbidol recently, about using it to combat this virus. Please research them if you can. I want to have something on hand, just in case. Please do not stop posting, we are all adults in this channel, if we care, we watch your videos. Those who do not care, please do not watch, but, don't complained either. God bless you Mr. Tom.

Hello from NJ Mr Tom! One week ago I bought a bag of 9 Lives dry cat food from Amazon for my Trixie and company. Paid $8.88. Today I figured I better add another 2 bags - $12.74 for the exact same bag exactly a week later. Two things I had in my cart went up too. I skipped all of it. Three things I bought within the last maybe 10 days total have gone up in price. And that's just me. TFS 😊

Went to walmart Sunday morning at 0600. Out by 0730. Saw 10-12 people. Very low on beans. Plenty of rice. Lots of canned goods & they were stocking for the first. Went back today to get a few things I forgot. Every check out was packed with long lines even at self checkout. Got out ASAP. Dollar tree still had stocked shelves of hand sanitizer cleaning supplies & everything. Got what I needed & got out. Went home as the k9 unit was out front walmart. Not getting sucked Into whatever was going on.

Thank you Mr Tom. My trip to Walmart today looks a lot like yours. The Great Value canned vegetables for 50 cents can't be beat. I too went ahead and bought some more too. Good idea on the canned hams, I will pick up some of those. I don't think my town is taking it serious either. Most baskets looked like people were picking up mainly snacks. The powdered milk was wiped out but the canned milk was pretty stocked up. I had read a comment about Dollar General had shelf stable milk online. I went ahead and ordered some. Thank you for the trip to the store. I too am taking this virus very serious Take care Mr Tom.
