For an 82 year old, he is exceptionally sharp. Not an anomaly by any stretch, especially today, but certainly noteworthy.

His name is clear - it took decades. The company that made the last minute change to get in one more run tried to cover the truth, but the proof lies at the bottom: She broke in half. God bless him.

Fascinating.

So it was located in two pieces within 200 feet of each other. Sounds similar to the Edmund Fitzgerald except that both parts of the Carl D. Bradley were upright. And both sank on the last voyage of the year.

Typical how US Steel bribed people to try and deny negligence and to try to avoid paying grieving families. Oglebay Norton tried the same thing with the Fitz, wouldn't even call survivors' families to offer condolences.
