Actually its a misconception among many parents that if one autistic kid is communicating, other can also . All kids are different . Such unsolicited advices are so wrong . As if parents dont work hard .

My daughter was prescribed an x-ray for something and she just didn’t co operate for taking it. When I told the doctor that she just did not let them take an x-ray and hence it was not clear. A qualified and very senior doctor told me the it’s on you how are you raising your child. What sort of parenting you are doing. PS: I did not went to the pathology he referred.

Lovely, very few people out there will understand this. I have 5 year old autistic child and people almost everyone is very judegmental about him and us. Anyways I don't care.

See because of lack of awareness this things happens , parents won’t work on the child, sometimes doctors also says because of some or the other reason, so and so delay is there, he will be ok and the parents wait for the child to be ok without any efforts, this is not the case…. They shld get proper guidance if the child is delayed in any milestone parents shld start working on them, there will be no harm in trying to improve them with different activities but they will not get guidance and in many areas child will be delayed. We cannot say that its parents negligency. My concern is always lack of knowledge causing the children to grow to a certain age where improvement becomes difficult despite of so many videos in youtube, I see the children are crossing early intervention time and approaching therapy centre at the age of 11-12 years of age.
