Jacob Collins I watched his video called my girlfriend is pregnant or something and he said it was because he was entirely ready and he did things before he went on his mission that he didnt entirely fix up within himself and he told his leader that and then the next morning his leader rang him and told him he would be on the next plane home that day. So yea hes done something and not taken care of it and it affected how he helped people. Because he wasnt capable of fulfilling his duties to his full potential

You're allowed to use internet to email (usually once a week on their prep day) and you can write letters. Missionaries are allowed to call home twice a year (mother's day and Christmas day), but if they are on a mission abroad they are allowed to skype instead of call because calling rates can be expensive. Other than that, not really. Some missionaries are allowed by their leaders to have blogs, but that's pretty rare.

it must be so hard to say bye, but he is going on a wonderful life experience :) it will be hard because i have had a lot of long distance times always being in a military family, but you will see him again in two years. i wish i could see my 19 yr old cousin in two years, but i well never be able to see him again :( he died three weeks ago in a car crash, and during the holidays it is so hard. i will always miss him. everyone please drive safe, and love your family like the shaytards loves everyone!
