I'm very glad Pipper is healing well!! Her scar looks good, and the miss happens happen! Our 100lbs rotti was very hard to keep from running when she stated to feel better! Good luck going to nights! As a maintenance manager, I dread the calls in the middle of the night!

I’m glad Piper is looking so well. I have an AC300 setup in the same way, powering my refrigerators and kitchen 120V full-time. It has 1600W of panels and on a good day it will capture 10kWh.
@WanderingWagners10 ай бұрын
We are looking/thinking of doing something similar with solar on the house and using it to power items full time like you mentioned👏🏻
@DougKremer10 ай бұрын
@@WanderingWagners It is amazing how much power just a couple big panels produce. Then you can set the AC300 to PV priority mode, at say 40% to hold some battery in reserve and just let it do its thing. Mine goes to and from utility and battery/solar flawlessly, not even a glitch that I notice on lights powered from it on the transition. It’s a brilliant device.
@TheSadler33310 ай бұрын
That’s pretty awesome that you can run a refrigerator for 2 days. Like you said most outages don’t last much more than a day. Glad Piper is doing well. 😀

We put the older smaller griddle in the house and we still use it there and put this bigger one in the RV. So much easier vs a Blackstone but everyone has their own opinion and likes. We don't dislike Blackstone but just think electric griddles are easier

I really want one of those things and solar,,,and all you would need is a solar panel to charge it right ?
@WanderingWagners10 ай бұрын
You can use solar to charge it, yes. We currently have it feeding from the grid until power goes out, but we have used solar panels to charge it. If you're using it and charging with solar, you'll need a decent amount of solar to be able to keep up.

Dave here and 2 powerhouse things I don't miss since I retered are: 1 - Night shifts during outages 2 - DEI meetings
@WanderingWagners10 ай бұрын
I actually choose nights. I sleep in the wraith in the garage so it's dark and quiet and I sleep great🙌🏻 plus less big wigs on nights haha I think that pretty much every meeting can be an email and most emails don't need to be sent😂
@davelauraphillips881410 ай бұрын
@@WanderingWagners I chose nights too for the same big wig reasons, but the hours still suck. OBTW, as I got older, it was harder to adjust to sleeping at night after the fun was done.

A couple of things... everyone wears their carhart logo off center ... :-) I just wear the cap and not care :-)... An old timer told me how to stop a dog from jumping up, other than not letting them up on your lap or furniture from puppyhood... He said to step on their back paws when they jump up a and say down.. Also using the term No forever thing confuses them .. they don't understand sentences but single works for different commands .. they love. I'll use "drop" for lay down.. or Drop it to drop something inter mouth etc... each person has their own thing... I hope this helps. pat
